Account Structure Basics
all right let’s talk real quick about account structure just very basic overview and really there are two key terms campaign and AD group so this is kind of the the basic structure of what these things are they’re basically organizational tools you can use them however you’d like and I’ll give you specific guidelines on how I recommend you use them but you really have the freedom to use them however you want there’s just a way that the ad platform organizes your your ads and your keywords so this will make a lot more sense once you get in but this is the kind of overall basic structure you have campaign one and within the campaign you’ll have ad groups each of those ad groups has a number of keywords that are assigned to it and a number of ads inside of it that’s basically it so an ad group has keywords that you know you’re bidding on that are specific to that ad group and it also has ads inside of it and then a campaign has ad groups inside of it that’s pretty much it but I’ll show you a quick example just so you see so you can see here that we have you know inside all campaigns here these are these are campaigns I have them organized by country I contain everything by country you you can be free to do whatever you want but generally if you have no other idea what to do I recommend that again I’ll talk more about recommendations on exactly what to do but let’s look at this one here so within the campaign we have two ad groups we have you know tactical pen Bing and tactical pen syndicated when I click on the ad group then it shows me the keywords that are inside of here so this this ad group here is inside of this campaign these are my four campaigns this is the AG group and you can see this is where these are all the keywords that are assigned to this ad group and then the other thing that is unique to the ad group is that it has one ad at the moment assigned to it each ad groups has its own settings you can see here some of the settings you can target only specific regions per ad group if you want you can target these are bid modifiers I could talked about before you can change these you know only just for the ad group you can exclude websites etc you can change you know some some different options there but that’s all more advanced stuff I’ll talk about more in later parts but this is just the organization of campaigns this is this is what it looks like
