looked back at the original dates I had written and I planned one for tonight so I figured let’s just keep the train rolling so thanks again for everyone who is hanging out tonight really appreciate it what’s up Charles what’s up Philip good to see you guys I know it looks like I’m kicking off my hip-hop career uh Austin is going through a little awkward phase of weather it’s kind of cold here and and recently Charles says good to be here Thank You Charles good to have you so recently Austin has had a water shortage basically not a shortage but there’s been so much flooding that there’s like silt and things like kind of seeping into the water supply it’s not dangerous or anything yet they do they basically just can’t process enough water at their treatment plants so they’re asking everybody to lower the use of water especially for you know like extra things like washing your car and stuff like that and then they’re also suggesting or requiring that everybody boils water before drinking it there hasn’t been any like dangerous things found in the water they’re just kind of preparing everyone so just to be sure anyway it’s kind of weird weird thing in Austin it’s not too scary and not as scary is when there was a lunatic bombing people randomly that was also while that was here in the last year but anyway it’s kind of cold so I’m all bundled up but yeah really really glad to see you guys and happy to talk about some cool Bing ads stuff Phillips says hey Brad how’s it going and how the heck do I unmute the webinar hmm Charles can you hear me yes Charles can hear me how sometimes go oh I need to type this stuff backup option is call in via phone but obviously not just good since you can’t see anything well you know I’ve got problems of being live but I’ll hopefully Phillip will log back in and everything will be good so Charles have you been launching any campaigns yet I’m curious hopefully some more people will show up too but that’s okay I’ve still got plenty of things to talk about okay so you haven’t launched anything yet what’s the what’s the challenge been so far [Music] Philip says was picking up the headset so Philip can you hear me now okay so Charles says cool awesome glad you can hear Philip alright so Charles says nothing and going to tomorrow cool so you don’t have to talk about like if you’re doing affiliate marking you never have to talk about specific offers or whatever that you’re promoting if you don’t want to but what what are you deciding to do basically like you if feel free to talk about whatever you want if you want to do it to talk about a particular product you can or maybe just a different a niche I think that’s totally fun to talk about are you gonna build a list are you going to do direct linking are you going to what type of product I think it’d be really cool to just get some you know real-life examples and help you guys get that launched that’s my goal of everybody watching this whether you’re watching the recordings or you’re on live is to you know take the information and go out and and try like get some practice go launch some campaigns and get yourself to just get some experience under your belt alright so Philip says list for me and offer training and a service to businesses well that’s awesome all around the same central theme very cool is it the central theme that you were talking to me about earlier today I’m guessing that’s definitely picking up some search traffic right now because it’s a pretty hot topic okay cool you can talk about it if you want otherwise I won’t I won’t mention it but I mean I don’t think it’s like secret or anything but it’s totally respect here your choice there he says Shh okay so Charles says combine the pen with the knife credit card okay cool that’s what you’re gonna try to promote try to promote Charles that idea okay cool hmm so Philip my first thought on that is that kind of the idea you were talking to me about earlier could easily be on Google there’s there’s no nothing holding back from Google traffic as well so one thing that I really like about Bing is that it’s that it’s like the perfect kind of it’s it’s fully huge enough to build plenty of income from in multiple ways on its own but it’s also kind of a good training wheels way to familiarize yourself with AdWords so AdWords is amazing it’s the like biggest maybe Adwords and Facebook are like the biggest advertising platforms on the planet it’s very sophisticated they kind of broke the ground in pay-per-click advertising they built it so it’s really incredible and the only the only thing that a lot of affiliate marketers have is you know they’re just really picky about affiliate programs and claims you know things that make higher conversions like bold claims Google’s not a big fan of so actually same Charles same with the you know the the knife credit card thing that could probably work on Google as well so obviously we’re talking about Bing and you know we’re gonna keep it relevant to that but one hey Carlos what’s up I just saw you joined welcome yeah just one one cool benefit of testing things out and being you don’t have to worry as much about getting banned or whatever you can test things out and see how it works how see how real people respond to real ads and then you can literally just port that over to Google so and then you’ll just instantly be Dinn – once you test out an idea that works on bing you can just roll it into Google and you get ten times the audience so Philip says my view especially regarding being training wheels thinking dropping Bing and Facebook pixel to retarget before AdWords makes sense so you’re gonna run AdWords to the funnel where you’re gonna place a Bing and a Facebook retargeting pixel oh Carlos says hi how are you I’m in a hurry coming from work hey man thanks for hanging out just really appreciate it yeah Philip says kind of stepping stones regarding cost definitely retargeting is a good stepping stone to maximize your spend in many different ways okay so you’re saying Bing then Facebook to AdWords okay yeah that’s actually a really good idea so Charles you may want to try that as well it costs you nothing to put a retargeting tracking on a landing page and so so what Philip is saying is he’s gonna run very cost effective like cheaper click being ads and get qualified people from Bing and then he’s gonna put a google adwords retargeting tracking on that page and then he’s also gonna put a Facebook retargeting pixel on that page that’s actually a really smart strategy Phillip because a lot of people who use being also use those platforms so you’re getting the same exact person but but edit you know you already know that they’re interested in this thing because they already clicked on your ad and then Phillip says then Facebook will build custom audience and then go to AdWords yeah that’s a good that’s a good idea so yeah cool strategy I’m really excited to hear how that works out and like I said the thing that you were talking about I’m guessing it’s getting a lot of search traffic right now but and as far as I know as long as you don’t make any like income claims then you should be totally fine to get on to AdWords as well so that’s it’s good thing I love being as a testing ground I’m really not afraid anymore of getting blocked or banned or whatever you can pretty much test anything even if you do get an ad disapprove I used to get really freaked out about it but now I’m I realized that it’s never been his harsh a punishment as I thought it was usually it’s just a technical error like you know it’s redirecting too many times or something or like I have the they don’t allow you to have more than one domain in an ad group hey what’s up Juan welcome thanks for coming to hang out Juan and Carlos so what we’re talking about right now is I just want to see who has had the chance to go out and create some campaigns and where where you’re at with that by the way if you’re doing affiliate marketing you never have to talk about a specific offer if you don’t want to but I I think you’re pretty safe to talk about a niche that you’re promoting if you don’t want to that’s fine too but yeah you know obviously the more information we get the more we can help but so if you have started running some campaigns you know where are you at what’s your current challenge if you haven’t then what’s been stopping you from doing that alright so Carlos says I bring a question is there any way that a landing page has a headline with the keyword with which a person searches something similar to the technique you teach and being at boot camp 1.0 videos with the keywords in the ads so can you put dynamically put a keyword into the headline on the landing page I’m sure you can I don’t know how to do it I’m guessing that’s a coding thing I just don’t know how to do it but that would be pretty cool it would be very very congruent to your ad message [Music] so it’s a good strategy so I mean the the really like basic kind of manual way to do that is just build out a different landing page for each ad group that has the keyword in it so make your groups really tight and specific and then make your each landing page literally have that word on it in if you’re doing Google AdWords the relevancy on the landing page really matters quite a bit to get a good quality score in my experience on Bing I don’t know like I know in the version 1.0 IIM ffice eyes it but I was also applying my experience from Adwords in my experience from AdWords which I’ve have a lot more experience on AdWords but I I’ve noticed the difference between quality scores but on bing I haven’t really noticed a big difference I don’t really worry about quality score as much so like the the landing page to keyword congruence I wouldn’t worry about that right now if you understand what I’m saying that is a cool strategy and it would probably increase conversions on your landing page but it’s definitely not the first place I would focus the first place is just getting the traffic going and getting something that converts so Charles says I’m gonna do Bing Bing to AdWords once I get the demographics dialed in my primary focus is on nailing the PPC search awesome being is a great place to test that water Google has that feature says Charles oh okay so to put dynamic keywords on the landing page that’s cool Phillip says I like that idea Carlos yeah me too that’s really good if you figure that out you know share it guys I think I’m gonna take your feedback and create a Facebook group I’m a little like wary of Facebook it’s hard for me to like sometimes I just kind of need to disconnect and I don’t really like social media but obviously you all found me through YouTube I’m definitely coming around to it it’s kind of like it doesn’t really matter if I like it or not that’s where everybody is right now so it’s kind of stupid not to do it but on the other hand I find no joy in being on social media so even to hang out with you guys which would bring me joy the Facebook part is what bugs me but I just started a new Facebook group I don’t know if you guys have seen anything I’ll probably be talking about it in emails over the next couple weeks but I started a Facebook group with my roommate slash business partner slash he’s just a really amazing email marketer and we’re gonna create an email marketing product probably next month or something so we want to get people to come into the group and talk to us about email marketing because Connor can really help I mean I have a lot of experience with email marketing as well but I always defer to him he’s like a badass that does it day in and day out so anyways I’ll send you guys some emails about that and it’s kind of warming me up to the Facebook group idea so if you guys want to do a private Facebook group just for people in the thing ATS 2.0 then I would be open to it and then we could you know keep contact like you know in between other classes and and afterwards as well obviously I can’t you know say that I’ll be in there every single day but I really you know you guys can help each other out and we can all help each other so so alright I’ll send out an email to people in the Bing ads bootcamp 2.0 only and we can start a private Facebook group so then we can talk in between the classes so I thought about it a lot and I’m just really enjoying actually you know getting to talk to you guys and and I want to know more about your businesses and and your journey so that would be a cool way to do that alright so Carlos says okay yes if Charles says I can’t stay in Facebook either I know but it’s just like it’s just where everybody is right now Philip says I’m up for that Brad Carlos says before I forget it Brad when would be ready the first section of being ads boot camp 2.0 that is called before the click yeah so I totally understand I’m like way farther behind than I thought I was I thought it would be pretty easy to crank out these videos it actually takes me some time to like get the thoughts out of my head into an outline and then create like the slides and then record the slides and then upload the slides so yeah I’m still I’m still working on that I just uploaded some new content today about mindset some good mindsets to keep in mind while you’re doing paid traffic and then also and also some Oh like an overview of paid traffic and Bing and stuff like that so probably will be you know kind of review for you guys but as more people come into the program like I’m probably gonna relaunch it in a couple months and then all this stuff will be ready for new people so this time you know big thing I learned which is obvious to all of you I know is that I need to have more stuff in there when people get in because obviously you paid a lot of money to get in this course and but like I’ve told you guys I didn’t know so many people were gonna be interested to be honest I was testing out the idea I gave it my best and it worked really well all because of you guys so thank you so much and so that was a really long answer Carlos as soon as I can hopefully I’ll be able to create those maybe tomorrow Charles says I’m almost through the one point oh yeah so honestly the 1.0 is still very very good thorough information I mean the big addition that I wanted to add in 2.0 was this part getting a more interactive part that I can learn from you and help to improve the information but the content in 1.0 I’m probably going to cut a little bit of it out now that I’ve had more experience and talked to more people when I made 1.0 I didn’t realize that so many people were gonna be focused affiliate marketing so I kind of built it a little more for four different people so 1.0 still really good there’s nothing lacking there’s nothing missing from 1.0 that was you know still the strategies that I’ve used to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars working with clients on Bing and AdWords and you know spending tons of money over several years so it’s really good information and so yeah you have full access to that so Juan says do you give personal training more deep I a lot of people the first 10 people who signed up for the course were I’m gonna do a one-on-one coaching call with so I do offer it I don’t really know beyond that what what I’m going to do but maybe Phillip says anything that’s not applicable in being bootcamp 1.01 thing is that in 2.0 I’m gonna like do a whole thing on clickmagick because a lot of people are doing affiliate marketing and when I made 1.0 I assumed that everybody would be running their own websites and so they would be able to put tracking code like on all their pages but now I realize most people are doing affiliate marketing so you really need a tracker so I’m gonna go more in depth with tracking stuff anything that’s not applicable hmm as far as the strategy goes no it’s still exactly the same strategy I would use and I do use I’m not as big of a fan of the keyword placement ads anymore I’m just it sounds like a really cool idea and it got me really high click-through rates but they’re kind of inconsistent so you can definitely try them but and they and they often will get very high click-through rates but at the end of the day I don’t care about click-through rates I care about cost per conversion cost per acquisition CPA and I what I haven’t been completely overwhelmed I’ve tried them in several different niches and businesses and I find that sometimes it works extremely well but then the same ad that worked really really well for two weeks will then start not working well for two weeks and the reason is because you have no control over it it’s popping in different keywords so so so yeah Phillip says sorry more platform focus I’m not sure what that means yeah all right so so yeah Carlos and Juan have either of you been able to start your campaigns yet regarding the Bing ads platform not sure what that means Phillip sorry so Juan says I did start one Carlos says no in being okay Juan says I started with a max bounty offer cool how is that going so far have you gotten traffic direct link just started today cool cool cool no traffic yet any impressions no no impressions okay so I want to show you guys actually the last ad groups that we set up I want to show that actually that’s where we’re kind of at right now oh so it was a few hours ago oh I see Phillip so Phillip says no problem just wondering if anything has changed to the Bing ads platform since one point oh yeah there have been some changes they are it definitely seems like they’re going overall they’re moving into the automated bidding strategies which Google has kind of been doing that for a while now they’ve kind of switched over I talked to Google reps pretty frequently and they’re always encouraging me to move over to automated bidding strategies for campaigns which sometimes have worked really really well and sometimes have been disastrous so I really don’t know where I stand with automated bidding at least from AdWords and my thinking is Facebook is really really good at it but they’ve invested all of their like you know time and money into building automated bidding that’s like their focus so they’re really really good at it AdWords is the other biggest company on the planet with infinite money so they’re probably gonna make it really really good if it’s not already really really good like I said I’ve had mixed results Bing I don’t know I don’t know if I trust them to build an automated bidding based strategy so I haven’t really tried it yet but that’s the way that advertising is going is basically they want to get all of the data of what happens on your site or your funnel or whatever and then they want you just to hand it over to them they don’t want people to be like doing their own keywords and all that stuff anymore they they want to be so AdWords is moving over to audience base which really they’re just trying to be like Facebook because I guess that works really well now so they’re trying to make you bid on audiences I’ve had terrible luck doing that I don’t think it’s a great strategy I think Facebook is way better at it but so Beings going that way a little bit but I haven’t really tried it out yet they have added one really cool thing I made a youtube video about it but I really love it is their dimensions they’ve added so it’s not as useful for affiliates unfortunately Juan says got 11 impressions one click all right cool so the traffic is flowing what was the cost per click on that on the click anyways dimensions is pretty cool you can see No these things how do you get to the useful dimensions oh okay here we are so imagine you know if you actually are tracking conversions like if you’re tracking opt-ins if you’re doing affiliate marketing I guess you can track opt-ins with Bing or if you’re selling your own product or whatever excuse me you can actually sort your results by all these really cool things like this like search term user location so it’ll break it down by like city by state or by geographic that that has been really cool to see like oh wow there’s certain states where like my clients campaigns don’t certain states just don’t convert at all and you can literally just cut them out and then you’re just gonna make way more money so this is a really big really cool feature that being added but unfortunately it’s not really that relevant for affiliates unless you’re collecting leads and you’re tracking the leads if you’re just doing direct linking it doesn’t really apply to you sadly but but as far as building you know your knowledge of the Bing platform then it’s good to be aware of it but yeah I really like the dimensions it’s so cool you can see what time of day what days etc mmm okay so one got a click a dollar 20 oh no that’s pretty expensive you probably what are you bidding you set 70 cents one go make sure so this is in the troubleshooting [Music] guide or checklist that I made for the QuickStart guide let’s open this up so here we have some common problems that have noticed that people run into if you get no or low impressions which we’re going to talk about in a second and what to do no or low click-through rate what causes it what to do no we’re low conversions and then spending is higher than my bids so you you got that you set 70 as your bid and your spending higher you need to go turn off enhance CPA or automated bidding so make sure that your bidding is set on manual if you set it on manual it will never spend more than whatever you bid but if you put it on any sort of automated bidding on the ad group or the campaign level then it will bid higher to get better conversions but you’re not giving it any data so enhanced cost per click is another feature they added Phillip but it’s not useful to affiliates because you’re not giving Bing any data to work with there’s no conversion as far as being knows you’re not making any conversions at all so it’s guessing at nothing but it still tries to guess it’s really stupid so always if you’re doing pure affiliate marketing you’re not building a list you you’re not getting you’re not tracking any conversion inside of the Bing platform always turn off anything just do manual bidding so Juan says yes want can you check to see if you’re using manual bidding alright so Charles says my Brad bet Gettys book came today that’s awesome that book is gonna make you a PPC master like it’s crazy that book changed everything for me that’s when I went from like being okay with AdWords to being like really damn good is just because it brad geddes it’s dense it’s not it’s not a fun read but it’s really really damn good and if you can ever get his training course I mean hopefully what you learn in this training course will kind of like save you some money and I can teach you the most relevant stuff to businesses like us because brad geddes is like a corporate dude like he works for giant companies he spends millions of millions and millions of dollars like even the clients that I work with they’re not like big corporate they’re like internet marketers as well so [Music] anyways so you kind of have to filter out some of brad geddes advice because he’s talking about running like a PPC campaign for like JCPenney or whatever like some monster monster accounts but the fundamentals are like really really awesome and that’s where I based a lot of you know the stuff that’s in the Bing ads boot camp just came from learning from bad brad geddes he’s he’s the best all right so once checking on his manual his CPC carlos says in fact geographic segmentation would be very useful in being since there are offers that as you say convert into certain states yes for example there is an offer on max bounty vegas comm that converted for me a couple of times in california on fridays and saturdays but the campaign had it for all the united states and i spent a lot of money that was with PPV yes so Carlos you’re kind of like I think you might be the most experienced with Mac’s bounty in here so definitely feel free to share your experiences with that but that’s a great example in which case if you learn that information and you know that if you somehow have that geographic information then you can design your campaigns you can go into your campaign and then you can go to settings and then you can change your location here by saying edit target locations and so right now it’s starting everything within the United States but then you could say you know only in California and then you say target and then you could change you know so then it would only be target in California and then you probably make a lot more conversions for a lot less money so yes geographic segmentation is really important and that’s again why if you’re doing pure affiliate marketing you want to have clickmagick or some other thing because they will give you they’ll at least give you countries I guess I tried to get geographic state location from clickmagick it was pretty hard so you have to go by IP address and I had to look at them up all manually and I don’t I didn’t really trust the results I thought all of these sales were coming from Colorado but I looked it up and I don’t know I don’t think it was accurate so I don’t know how to get state data if you’re doing if you’re just doing pure like affiliate marketing so Juan says yet this was the problem yeah okay so a lot of people have that problem and just just check out this is a this is in the QuickStart guide that I put in the in the training program it’s just the Bing troubleshooting checklist if you if you run into that problem again just come back and check on it if your spending is higher than your bids it’s right here it’s one of these things and then if you have these these other problems you can check them too Juan says Brad the t ID equals click ID works also for max bounty direct links no because max bounty doesn’t use tid it uses a different formatting Carlos probably knows it better than me I I still have to learn it and then teach it in the class like I have to do some click magic it’ll take you know ten minutes to learn like you can obviously like figure it out I just want to make it easier for you guys but they use a different syntax they don’t use tid tid is exclusive to clickbank I think but the same concept works on an max bounty yes so it’ll just be a slightly different process and actually if you want to figure it out before I get to it you just go into clickmagick and just go to their FAQ and knowledgebase they actually have amazing FAQ so if you type in max bounty says how do i integrate max bonded with the click magic and this is it so I mean it’s a very it’s a it’s seems complicated but when you just do it a couple of times it will start to make a lot of sense and they even have videos integrating clickmagick with CPA affiliate offers so you can just click on that watch the video and see them do it but I will make my own version of this integrating landing pages with CPA networks autoresponders there’s so much cool stuff to do with clickmagick and I’ve barely even scratched the surface that’s why I highly recommend everybody get it if you’re doing affiliate marketing so Charles said so so yeah one if you’re gonna use clickmagick make sure to go into the training and figure out how to do it with Mac’s bounty it’s a little different but it’s the same same idea same process that we went through last time just slightly different oh yeah so Carlos says that you they use s1 s2 yeah just go into the click magic training they’ll get you set up and then eventually I’ll have training on it to you and still you still want to like pass those tokens and stuff so it’ll be slightly different so Charles says Bing is having a webcast on the art and science of broad match tomorrow that’s cool maybe maybe we can all tune in all right I’m gonna make Facebook tonight the Facebook group tonight and I’ll send you guys an email does everybody get my emails I’m guessing yes cuz you all registered for the thing so one says the click I got was not tracked by click magic let me ask you a question 1 do some more troubleshooting did you make sure to in your ad put this here in the ad URL options did you put your tracking link there you might need a slash okay so that’s what you put in the ad URL options okay so Oh Charles good point yeah this is something that I missed in my direct linking training that people with more experience direct linking pointed out as soon as I put out the video you have to turn off note the auto tagging man that’s that’s such an important thing and I forget it sorry about that where is that in conversion tracking I forget where that is I looked it up when that person told me maybe it was you where does that option auto tagging conversion tracking see I kind of had to learn the direct linking process just because I realized so many people want to do it but I actually don’t really do it so I have done it I’ve tried it but I know everybody wants to do it at least in the beginning okay here it is make sure that this option I need to add this to the video I need to make like a new updated thing yeah make sure this is turned off right Charles it has two spots accounts account and shared okay so this isn’t shared and then account where’s that oh look up here hmm I don’t know well turn off auto-tagging again sorry sorry guys I’m not super experienced with the direct linking thing so Juan says you tested it and it found the landing page okay yeah so the auto auto-tagging make sure that’s turned off okay so you did put it on your ad for sure oh I was gonna say – there needs to be a slash in between your your this part if you can see it there needs to be a slash right there before the query string you need to put a slash if that makes sense I know that for sure so that might be screwing the whole thing up right there it’s weird I know this stuff is like weird and complicated until you just do it a few times if I put a slash where is that done turn off auto tagging so turning off auto tagging is in shared library and then URL options and you want to make sure this is not checked and then Charles said there’s another to place but I don’t know where it is yeah definitely put the slash I know it needs that that might be breaking the whole thing and then make sure there’s no auto tagging it is unchecked okay good try putting the slash alright so Carlos says I recognize that I’m not very good with that technical part tokens postback all that vocabulary has been a bit complicated but that does not stop me from making money hell yeah maybe I could have done more but you can make money yeah that’s awesome that’s the that’s the spirit – like you’re gonna you’re gonna improve like you if you just stick with it keep at it you’re gonna get better and better same thing with me man like when I first started doing AdWords it was like everything was confusing to me and then you know when I started doing Bing it was same thing just very confusing and and there’s still stuff like I mean you guys are helping me become better because there’s stuff that I’m not that familiar with that teaching people forces me to learn and you’re just making making me better so I can help you all get better and you yeah I mean I’m learning things from you as well so that’s that’s the right attitude ready fire aim don’t wait until it’s perfect don’t wait until you’ve studied every single thing about at being and you know every single piece of the puzzle just get started you know that’s how you learn one I love that you just went out there and you started a campaign that’s great now you just hit your first issue which is okay why is it spending more than I bid that’s very confusing well you came to the right place you came to your big ads bootcamp 2.0 friends and we we’re helping you out here but I love that you got started and yeah so Carlos says okay under account and billing okay wow that’s a weird spot for it listen users hmm well I’ll probably have to do another video on that but auto-tagging there it is so make sure that’s off cool Oh upper right hand corner yep all right so originally I planned on talking about research and good man as was getting really lost there Brad yeah getting a little confusing but I like being able to personally help with where you’re at right now that’s one of the benefits of getting to come to the live calls is that you can you know get personal attention and it’s also helping other people that watch this in the future so thank you for sharing your experiences and we can all can all help each other so let me let me real quick well not probably not real quick let’s talk about some of the results that we got from the campaign’s we launched a couple days ago now you can see this month this is my favorite metric by the way is to judge by this month because it includes today and I don’t know months I think are the best judge of success for paid traffic campaigns I talked about this or I will talk about it I don’t know if the videos uploaded yet but in the mindset section talking about events versus process so a really good book that everybody should get eventually is The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco really awesome business book and he talks about event versus process like most people are trying to chase the event right so as marketers as a filly more here’s some an event might be $1,000 day you know like wow I made $1,000 today or made $200 today or I made 10 bucks today just pure profit that’s great but then the next day when that can’t when that same campaign suddenly loses ten dollars you think all is lost because you’re paying attention to the event but if you run a lot of paid traffic campaigns over long periods of time you realize that it’s all about averages and a $20 a day campaign is not actually literally $20 a day it’s a $20 average over 30 days usually the month is the best judgement of a campaign there could probably be exceptions to this but definitely with search PPC this type of traffic then a month is like my standard by which I judge success so has this campaign been successful over the month that’s a pretty good judge and also if you’re doing affiliate marketing then you know that you don’t get paid immediately you get paid usually like two weeks down the road until you become really big super affiliate then you can negotiate for faster payouts etc but is if you’re doing like Clickbank you get paid in about two weeks so oh no I just deleted some piece of common oops whoever just commented last feel free to comment again ask another question so anyway so I have it set for this month and so we launched a couple campaigns you can see here we’ve gotten no clicks and almost no impressions so another problem that I included in the Bing troubleshooting checklist is no or low impressions so the causes of this are either there is no volume search volume and in which case you want to double check the projected volume of keywords now we know that’s not the case for either one of these keywords because we already did this research we looked in Google we looked in bang and we looked at keywords everywhere and we know that both you know obviously lake weight loss is got plenty of traffic it’s huge keyword and we also saw that tactical pen I think it was getting searched like 27,000 times a month or something much more likely thing here is that the bid is not high enough and it’s not even close so we’re gonna take a look at that and kind of look at what we can do to adjust our campaign yes Phil I am sharing my screen can everyone see my screen I hope so I feel like I’ve been showing a lot of things on my listening I was like showing so many things on the screen 8 that’s why it was confusing to find the auto-tagging did you see where the auto-tagging was in shared library now you can all see my screen URL options and then uncheck this box yeah okay Wow man all right oh let’s let’s get back right into it ok cool so let’s talk about yeah I can see why you were getting lost Phillip oh my gosh I’m so embarrassed whatever ready fire aim that’s how we do it ok so I so I was saying you should familiarize yourself with this I use this every single day and my favorite metric is this month I I always like that metric in AdWords in facebook ads in Bing it’s just to me that’s the success of a campaign I know you guys heard all that I won’t go into the whole thing again cuz you can still understand that without seeing it oh man did you didn’t see the checklist I was bringing out the checklist so I’ll just read say this real quick because it helps to see it but I made this troubleshooting checklist for some of the problems we encountered like here I was showing this when I was talking to one we’re suspending is higher than my bids just you know turnoff enhance CPA or automated bidding there’s a little visual so you can check that out I probably have videos I think it did make videos on this actually but it’s good to have the the PDF download too and there’s some other problems here so no low impressions that you can troubleshoot no low click-through rate no /lo right like you’re getting out getting a good click-through rate or it’s really or you’re not getting any clicks at all no or low conversions so these are like things a checklist you know we talked about checklists on the last one that’s how airplane pilots do it that’s how doctors do it it’s just a way to you know run through the basics and make sure everything’s good so these are the results from the campaigns we launched on Monday and so you can see here that we’ve only gotten 14 impressions on tactical pen they did approve the ad so that’s fine we’re looking for the whole month and so it’s been running for two days and 14 impressions I mean if I were running this like normal obviously I’ve been very busy so I didn’t have a time to check in on this but this is nothing like I wouldn’t I’m not waiting for anything here I I know that there’s an issue and I need to fix it it’s not my budget I’m budgeting 20 bucks today so that’s not the problem so we go back to the checklist no or low impression so here are the causes usually one there’s no volume so sometimes you’ll make a campaign or an ad group based on like your gut feelings about a niche which is fine you can try that out I’m not saying it won’t work because sometimes your gut is smarter than keyword tools like sometimes if you know that there’s a new like we talked about this with Carlos he is very tuned in or maybe this was on the live stream I can’t remember but Carlos is like an expert at sports and he covers sports events so he knows that big events are coming up and there’s gonna be a huge wave of search traffic but it doesn’t exist yet and even it won’t be tracked by keyword trackers so sometimes you got to trust your instincts so so let’s let’s check on this no volume with both of these obviously that’s not the issue because we did keyword research last time so that’s what you want to do you want to look in the key the keyword tools you want to look in the search engine and see if there’s looking keywords everywhere so we know there’s keyword traffic for these ideas at least and probably these specific search terms so so that’s not the issue probably the issue is that our bids aren’t high enough or I will actually add another thing here is that we need more keywords so so what to do verify the volume we already did that verify competition we already we know that there’s competition in both of these niches we did that research yesterday so that’s a good thing competition is good in paid traffic because that means that it’s working and people are paying for it profitably so there’s room for you as well so the thing is to try raising the bid and my favorite way of doing this other than once you do it a bunch of times you’ll start to have instincts about it but if you don’t have the instincts then I just wait until being suggests a bid and see if it’s in your ball ballpark so I say refer back to goals worksheet we’ll talk about that that’ll be like in the course I’ll talk about but basically how much are you willing to spend so one when you said that that first click was a dollar 72 unless that unless the payout on that thing is like a thousand dollars I don’t think you’re gonna make a dollar seventy two clicks work very well just in my experience selling a lot of different products using paid ads I would not be excited about a dollar seventy two clicks that would be that would be out of my budget that’s out of my ballpark as as we say in the US I don’t know if everybody says that basically like in your acceptable range of what you’re willing to bid on a click so so so let’s check this out impressions fourteen that’s like nothing but look these these little light bulbs are Bing has suggestions for you being in AdWords have suggestions on how you can spend more money on their platform that’s very good for them so they’re guiding you there’s a degree to which this is very helpful and then there’s a point at which you should not keep following these suggestions I’ll talk about this in the course as well but I’ve been I’ve made some pretty massive mistakes working on campaigns where I kept following Google’s suggestions and it just kept ruining the campaigns more and more but in the beginning they can be very helpful so let me show let’s let’s take a look it says loading opportunities so right now the opportunities are site leaking extension and call-out extension not too concerned with those yet let’s let’s dig into the ad group and specifically let’s look at the keywords okay so now this I love this is very helpful this is saying so right now we’re bidding 30 cents and it says below first page bid and it tells you what it’s gonna cost to get on the first page now just an FYI you don’t have to be on the first page consistently to make money sometimes it’s actually better to be lower in fact in my experience at least on Google the kind of product that I’ve worked on it’s better to be not at the top of the page I know if you talk to somebody from Google or Bing they’re gonna tell you that you want to bid to be the top but honestly I’ve never had I’ve never seen that to be true maybe with certain products that’s true but I don’t think if you’re doing affiliate marketing or you’re doing internet marketing selling your own products I don’t think that’s gonna be the case you don’t need to spend the top dollar to get on the top of the bidding you’re just gonna kind of be a mix of average position and that’s totally fine I’m much just I’m just more concerned with affordable clicks than I am with being at the top you’re usually competing with big brands not not where you want to be as a small business so but but it’s saying 31 cents now if this came back if this estimate came back and said below first page bid first page estimates $3 then I’d be worried I’d be like oh boy I don’t know if I’m ever gonna be able to compete in this niche because you know everyone else is paying $3 per click this might not be the right niche for me right now but it says 31 cents so I’m bidding 30 it says I need to pay 31 to get on the first page for this phrase match okay whatever so let’s let’s do it let’s bump it up to 31 it’s fine okay and this says for broad match we’re gonna have to pay 32 to get on the first page that’s fine not a big adjustment you know it’s in the ballpark it’s it’s close now soon yeah they’re not doing it yet but soon after you let this run for a few days even if you don’t get any clicks or whatever it’ll start suggesting keywords to you and so you can start to add more keywords and that’s actually what I think we need to do we could just keep increasing our bids but let’s look I’m not too worried about quality score okay this is another very useful thing here so estimated first page bid estimate it main line bid and estimated best position bid we’re gonna add those if you didn’t see that I went to columns and modify columns and then attributes and I just added all of those options because they can be very very useful when you’re especially when you’re first getting a campaign going so let’s see if we can see some some estimates here and this is gonna change over time the more you let it run the more Bing will give you better and better information and in my experience being at least is not trying to like screw you over they’re not lying to you I don’t think Google’s trying to screw you over either it’s just that they have so many advertisers on their platform that the averages they suggest are super high so you can usually just kind of cut them in half or to a third but being bings a little more accurate they’re being pretty honest if they tell you it’s gonna cost you thirty one cents to get on the first page it’s probably gonna cost thirty one cents ish as to my estimated main line bid so they’re telling you this is what it would cost to put you at the top of the search results also known as the main line so it’s saying seventy two cents so maybe we’ll find that somewhere in between 31 and 72 cents is gonna be like the the sweet spot maybe we might have to bump up to like 50 cents sometimes when you bump it up that first bid it’ll just come back and be like well actually you need about you know thirty nine cents and you just keep bumping it up so keep in mind too that usually phrase and exact are going to be more expensive in this case it says for tactical pen it actually says that the estimated main line bid is 92 cents maybe that’s just because you’re bidding against like e-commerce stores with lots of money but this is the exact match phrase yeah so this is saying your ad rank is not high enough for the ad to run your ad rank is based on your bid and basically you’re not paying enough so yeah rather than waiting and being super conservative let’s just crank this up to let’s go to raise them all to 40 cents just to see if we can start getting some traffic and this is both this is on the being so we have the syndicated and the bing networks here so let’s just see we are getting impressions so like eventually we will get clicks and over some time we will get more clicks but let’s just see if we can get some faster maybe we’ll so we’ve got 14 impressions hopefully by the end of the night we’ll have even more now this one this campaign I think is a little trickier because of the subject matter because we chose fat loss it’s gonna be a little trickier to get impressions we can still check though we can see what Bing is saying they don’t have any suggestions I don’t think yeah so no no impressions whatsoever not even close I did add a few more keywords still nothing yeah we’re not even close so let’s see if they even give us any information on the wasn’t it attributes oh that was in keywords right there’s different options for different views when you’re looking at different things in here definitely check out what’s in the columns though there’s some really cool stuff in here I’ll tell you just briefly this will be more detail I did made a special video just about these columns and they’ll in the 1.0 I’ll just redo that and update the information but quality score is good to know match type is not that useful because you can well yeah I guess it is useful in this case landing page never I’ve never used that custom parameters never used any of those like I said I do look at estimated first page main line and best position just to see where the ballpark is but it doesn’t mean you have to pay that just keep that in mind I’m starting to be very interested in average CPM but probably starting out you don’t really need it clicks impressions click-through rate average CPC spend an average position those are all really good CPA that’s really good if you’re actually tracking conversions inside of Bing I mean this is like your lifeblood if you’re actually using the tracking and Bing if you’re using clickmagick and just doing it like directors direct linking not as important return on adspend same thing this stuff is very important as well so impression share is lost to budget I mean you can add the other ones too but let’s let’s look at this let’s see if they give us any stats yeah it probably just hasn’t been running long enough but eventually these are going to be very important the impression share because it gives you a gauge on like how much more traffic there is out there to buy how’s everyone how’s everyone doing what are you guys thinking about this information is it helpful I haven’t seen anybody comment in a while you just you are seeing my screen I hope it’s weird talking to yourself for a long time it’s probably a little a little bit advanced but I just want to show what I would do if I see that a campaign isn’t getting traffic alright we got a question coming in okay Philip says loving this one says when you bid 30 Bing will charge you 30 on each click click or can be less it can be less it’s just gonna it will never charge as long as you turn off enhanced CPC it will never charge you more than 30 cents so it’s an it’s an auction if you’re familiar with how auctions work they’re always letting everybody bid and they’re going to sell it to the highest bidder so if you put in if you’re willing to bid up to 30 cents you might be the highest bidder at 10 cents and they’re gonna give it to you for 10 cents if there’s nobody else that’s bidding higher than 10 cents you can bid at 30 and you’ll still only get it for 10 that’s why it’s a really really cool system so Charles says my bids usually go down if you keep tweaking yeah so if you actually create really good quality ads that get really high click-through rates and you have good quality scores then your average cost-per-click can go down that’s like one of the ways to really win with PPC like Adwords and Bing is to keep tweaking your campaigns make better more relevant ad groups with small groups of keywords that have very relevant ads to what the people are searching for the more you do that the better and better your cost-per-click will be but yes one it can be less than 30 cents and if you won’t if you bid 30 cents but everybody else is bidding 70 cents you’ll still get some clicks for you know 30 cents or less they have so much inventory they call it inventory like the so the impression is somebody seeing the ad which is different than a click and you’re in with search with being an AdWords search you’re paying per click that’s why it’s called PPC pay-per-click you you only pay when somebody actually clicks on your head but they want to show impressions to ads that are going to get clicked because that makes their platform better so yeah all right so there are some different things we could do with these campaigns this one I just raise the bid so we’ll see looks like we’re getting a quality score of 8 out of 10 I don’t know how relevant that is it’s only been 2 days so I’m not putting a lot of stock into that but this one I would guess we have to add some more keywords so let’s maybe raise the bid 2 let’s raise the bid let’s try that out I mean there’s not even get they’re not even getting any impression so it’s not even close but let’s try adding like actually so so originally you know we want to talk about some research methods so let me check out a research method here I want to share with you guys hopefully it’ll work for this sometimes it works better than others but so this is the product we’re promoting I believe was flat belly fix no actually we were doing the bat decimator okay so let’s check out this little research method all right let’s go into Adwords if you don’t have an AdWords account a lot of people like are weird about like how do I get this for free or whatever you can literally spend like 10 cents to start an AdWords account it’s not a big deal I’m not even positive you have to spend any money but just just get it just for the keyword tool so I’m gonna put the URL into the into Adwords instead of typing in keywords like how to lose weight or whatever I just put the URL of the affiliate offer which obviously this one is really popular it’s making tens millions of dollars so it’s it’s gonna have search traffic people are gonna be searching for it so let’s look at what Google suggests for some keywords this is a really cool place to get keywords that not everybody knows about I bet Charles knows about it so so check out some of these keywords that it pulls out because it’s Google it knows like people who come to this webpage I kind of know what they’re searching for so the most relevant one totally makes sense is what is a phat decimator system that would be really great actually so this would make the most sense to create a product base campaign around this thing but let me just show you to show you how it works so I would take this and let’s just start adding some relevant keywords it’s not the most ideal way to build an ad group but I just want to show you them the mechanics here so I just got a keyword from this Google analysis of the landing page it says it only gets to search ten times a month that’s fine we just want to stack up a bunch of keywords and then I’m gonna go to one of my favorite tools called keyword mixer com I should I think it showed you this to you on Monday and I’m gonna paste in this keyword and then eventually I’m gonna turn it in to exact match and phrase match at the same time so fat decimator let’s try that one what is fat decimator well and there is I believe a like faster way to do this I think you can like copy also I believe key words everywhere is giving me these really cool options to export CSV or add all key words maybe I should do that so these are all like very specific like closely related and low low search volume but highly relevant so these are like very qualified people – the fat decimator system and it’s showing us the most relevant relevant so keyword by relevance these are the keywords that are most relevant to this affiliate offer so it’s gonna go it’s gonna work its way out in relevance so review diet plan is the fat decimator system review fat decimator system book you guys remember when we looked at the the business model where people review the specific affiliate programs and they and they buy ads to a review page that you might consider doing this these are amazing keywords to do that strategy the fat decimator system book kyle Cooper so you’d be you’re gonna be bidding on all of these as exact and phrase matches which is very high quality clicks you’re just not going to get a lot of clicks so this is why if you do this strategy for for a specific product you’re gonna have to do it for lots of products you see you’re not going to get a lot of clicks but the ones that you do are gonna be very qualified so this is interesting how to use rosemary for weight loss so that must be something that the program teaches or maybe it’s in the sales video using rosemary maybe that’s one of the tips that they offer this would be a really cool ad group so I would create a separate ad group that’s like how to use rosemary for weight loss and then I would created separate ads that are like how to use rosemary for weight loss obvious we won’t always want to just give them basically what they’re searching for and then create like a bridge page or just send them directly to the video sales letter so the bridge page is this page like this one that we created on Monday right this is something that like prepares them for the product you might want to bridge the the rosemary weight loss tip you know instead of so if you built an ad group around this idea then you would send them to a landing page that bridges rosemary weight-loss to fat decimator so you’d say instead of ex-marine reveals weight loss secret which might work I would say exactly what they search for kind of like what Carlos was talking about literally kind of put the keyword right here and say new video new maybe something a little spicier maybe say like new controversial video reveals the rosemary weight loss secret watch this incredible present video presentation blah blah blah and then maybe say something more about like you know this never-before-seen rosemary trick has saved countless people from devastating weight gain or whatever anyways this is a cool way to sneak in to a very popular very high converting product but you’d be bidding on something like so yeah so Edward says it gets searched ten times a month but also rosemary tea for weight loss different you guys see why I would create a new ad group this is a totally different idea you’d be capturing people but you kind of have a secret knowledge that probably the people out there on the internet who are searching for rosemary tea for weight loss it’s probably because they watch this sales video at some point so that’s probably still in their mind they’re probably kind of like warmed up to the idea you won’t have to convince them rosemary and weight loss I could search 10 times so altogether you know if you put all of these into an ad group I’m guessing they’d be very qualified look at the trends – this is this is adorable so look in August search volume was 10 for rosemary for weight loss rosemary T for weight loss September it was 50 so basically this product is blowing up so more and more people out there are being taught are being trained by the sales video to use rosemary tea for weight loss so you so this is an example of like Google’s kind of slowly catching up to the trend but the trend is happening now so you could step in front of this trend with your ads and capture something that people are searching for that they’ve never searched for before yeah so let’s keep looking fat decimator Affiliate okay so that’s you might not want to bid on that because that’s going to be people who want to do affiliate marketing actually I might add affiliate as a negative keyword because probably even if you sell one a lot of affiliates will buy products just to funnel hack them and then roof refund so I would actually remove affiliate fat decimator scam whatever there’s always okay look at this guys this is cool this is like this is beautiful this is like a new keyword has been created in front of our very eyes look it’s growing of course it’s growing because that thing is selling like crazy so more and more people are being taught Kyle Cooper that’s the I’m guessing the creator of those system rosemary for weight loss yeah this is cool 2040 okay rosemary water for belly fat same pattern it’s growing never existed before nope no old people are bidding on it it’s a new keyword out there now we’re getting into some less relevant stuff stop eating for weight loss you lose weight I mean come on weight loss gets 165,000 so now we’re getting less and less relevant also you can see the cost per click is going up on these competitive terms you lose weight is almost three dollars a click where do you lose weight that’s not very qualified where does a person lose weight how we lose weight anywho these are all good matches for adding to our keywords so you know what let’s do this let’s uh I want to show you guys a tool so this is this is the research method I really wanted to share with you basically reverse engineering what’s already working on a website it’s pretty crazy so for these top affiliate offers you know there are people from all over sending traffic to this page from blogs from YouTube videos from PPC ads from all over and Google is collecting all that information like what you know what are people looking for when they come to this page and so they’re kind of giving giving it to you now the catch is it has to be a pretty popular thing so let’s look at um Ted’s Woodworking but also before we do that real quick I wanna also want to show you that Bing has its own version of this so you can also get an estimate that’s a little closer to home look a little closer to what you’re really working with so if you go into the keyword planner in Bing tools keyword planner so this is where we would normally look for like fat loss right right down here it says your landing page so put in fat decimator and now it’s doing the same thing for us but with a little more accurate kind of being estimations so look it if you’re gonna do the product route if you’re gonna bid on the product itself look at the suggested keywords it’s a dollar sixty three wait where does weight loss the general term is only 82 cents and something like fat disseminator or whatever is like 44 cents to miniature affiliate yeah probably because affiliates don’t bid on the word affiliate because I feel it’s only buy and difference between fat diminisher fat fat whatever anyways Kyle interview yeah so the the cost the average cost-per-click is going to be higher on these really qualified terms and the monthly searches is going to be lower but that’s that’s just a different game so there’s the niche based where we’re targeting people who are interested in fat loss and then there’s the product base where you’re literally targeting people who are searching for the fat decimated program either one is fine just know that if you do the one where they’re searching for a fat decimator program you’re gonna have to do it for a lot of different products and you’re gonna pay high cost per click but they’re gonna be really qualified so try them out anywho so so yeah you can put in the landing page and get search volume trends in Bing as well but I like to use AdWords because they’ve just got more more data the Bing is just kind of like it’s very likely that the the estimates they give you are going to be very accurate to their platform on AdWords who knows who knows how AdWords to Bing is going to work out but Bing to Bing that’s pretty close you’re probably gonna pay you know higher for these but okay so this is kind of the the secret research method so let’s look at another example Ted’s Woodworking we already looked at that let’s put that one in say okay get results bet this one will be good this one’s been around for so long yeah yeah look at this alright so the most obviously the the biggest one is Ted’s Woodworking so we would put that into a product based ad group which would go to a product based landing page which would be like a review of the product you know the pricing discount all those things we talked about last time so Ted’s Woodworking gets 1,300 searches a month just for somebody who’s literally looking for the product that’s huge woodworking plans is the next most relevant keyword and that gets 8100 searches so that’s pretty good one but that would that’s not product based right so we have the product base and we have the niche base the this keyword is niche based so you would build a different a group for this and bid separately Ted’s Woodworking plans that’s product based 210 searches a month looks like it trends it Peaks in May so it looks like summer people like to work on woodworking in the summer it looks like oops keyword yeah okay so this is we’re back Ted’s Woodworking review 720 searches a month to a thousand somewhere in there Ted McGrath woodworking these are all product based product base bunk bed plans niche based so I would build a different completely different ad group for just bunk bed plans and see how that performs you could still run it like direct direct link to Ted’s Woodworking but create a separate ad group so that your ads are gonna be super relevant and who knows you know how that’s going to convert because they’re searching for bunk bed plans are not necessarily searching for Ted Ted’s Woodworking or they’re not necessarily searching for like 16,000 woodworking plans but we don’t know but that gets searched 300 3600 now what would convert really really well I’m sure of it is create an ad group that’s bunk bed plans only talk about bunk bed plans have you know the broad match exact match at phrase match about bunk bed plans and then having a landing page that is literally like click here to download your bunk bed plans free bunk bed plans and then you’ll have to go you know what you could do on the landing page there is you give them the opt-in click here to download your free bunk bed plans maybe show picture of like bunk bed plans or whatever and then on the opt-in just say great going to send you my top five favorite bunk bed plans to pick from I’m gonna send it to you and your email make sure to check your email and then you can send them I’m sure that there are this is how I think people are promoting this product oh really well so Philip asks are the keywords ranked in order of relevance yes they are that’s pretty important and it’s Google so you know they know what they’re talking about let’s look for bunk bed plans so we’re basically yeah we’re going back through more research tonight which is just really important no matter what you’re promoting obviously if you have your own business or you’re trying to work with like a local client or whatever it’s gonna be a lot more straightforward you won’t have to do as much research but this is all still useful you can still reverse engineer your competitors you know see what keywords they’re bidding on if you have a auto mechanic shop type in the biggest auto mechanic shop you know in the country or whatever and see reverse engineer their keywords and then just take those and apply them only for your your art market you know your your location so bunk bed plans yeah look 31 DIY bunk bed plans and ideas so what you can do is when you send them the email just send them a link to this blog page say hey I actually just found this really cool page that has 31 different great bunk bed plans but so you might think well how is it helping me well on the on the opt-in page on the liniment Thank You page for the opt-in your opt-in is giving them exactly what they search for so you should get a really high opt-in rate your ad is gonna give them exactly what they’re searching for which should give you a really high click-through rate because you’re only spitting on bunk bed plans and then on the thank you page you can have a one time offer to get the the the 16,000 plans right and then your have their email on a list that you can follow up with but just to deliver on the promise just send them to this you know give these people some love because they’ve put together this really nice blog post so or you know something similar you can find someone else who has you’re just sending them free traffic and you know sure they’ll make some sales to they’ll build their their Facebook retargeting list you know they’ll they’ll they’ll benefit from you paying for it but you know that’s it’s a good move and you fulfill on your opt-in thing and then you can start to send them more offers for the tedswoodworking thing or the other woodworking things you can ask them what are you interested in so again our new product that we’re working on for next month is going to be based on email marketing so we’re gonna talk a lot more about this in the next the coming month plans free of course people are searching for free so then you can actually instead of advertising 16,000 woodworking plans as which is not what they’re searching for they might still want it but they’re they’re much more likely to want bunkbed plans because that’s literally what they’re searching for so catch them where they’re at or what give them what they want and then I’ll make the offer on the next page and then keep making the offer you know like what other plans are you interested in you can ask them on the if they don’t take the offer on the first Thank You page then you can follow up with them an email and start saying hey you know I saw you’re interested in bunkbed plans what would be very specific and you’re gonna be my guess is that you’re gonna be like doing more work than the average affiliate is willing to do to promote this product so I definitely think there’s some product I would start probably breaking out all these different groups look how much search traffic there is this crazy just for woodworking bench or for bunk bed plans there’s 3600 searches what’s up check this out in Bing see how it stacks up so modify search no bunk bed plans free bunk bed plan look at this 13 cent bids Wow so yeah 900 people are searching for this per month a free bunk bed plan that’s pretty pretty high and very low suggested biz that means you’re probably gonna get clicks for like 10 cents maybe maybe even cheaper 5 cents so that’s an approach just bid out all these things for bunk bed plans and then build a list pretty interesting so yeah this is a great a great way to get very relevant keywords whether you’re gonna do the product method or the niche method so let’s go back we’re trying to add some keywords for fat decimator so keep keep doing that just to show you how to actually implement it all right so what is fat decimator fat decimator going back to you I mean I already got that one what is the fat decimator system these aren’t gonna be very high volume though I’d like to do something that has high volume maybe we’ll make the bunk beds thing next fat decimator what is the fat decimator diet it’s a good one complete fat decimator system madness meter system okay now let’s try to get the first couple of like broad broad things oh yeah how to use wait rosemary for weight loss now that’s still not very high volume let’s just go weight loss ridiculous keyword it’s really expensive and very competitive probably not gonna work but let’s try it anyways lose weight fat a little more likely how can I lose weight let’s try that now this is a good one to leave as a broad match I’ll show you how to do that alright so basically I just want to start getting some traffic in here so we can get some stuff to look at so alright so I just added these different keywords I want to add them to both be syndicated and Bing so I’m gonna click quotes and brackets and click combined now it’s gonna spit out the in quotes so that’s a phrase match and then in brackets those are exact matches looks like I left a blank one so I’m gonna redo it so there’s no blank one now I could just copy these and I can go to add keywords paste them in here click Save boom I just added a whole bunch of keywords to try to get some more traffic going they’re all you know relevant to that particular offer maybe we can do the same with the tactical pen let’s look that up we are the number one tactical pin remember and keep if you’re doing Clickbank always search by gravity you don’t want a cheap imitation product let’s look it well I’m gonna grab the whole URL just to make sure we get there strike Penn related stuff get results invalid characters what are the invalid characters maybe you can’t have slashes maybe you can only do the root domain it’s fine oh look the most relevant keyword for some reason is strike penn self-defense we didn’t have that did we maybe we did let’s look we had I just put in a tactical plan tactical pen tactical pen okay so this is this is good we have some room to improve here keep a lot of tabs you guys have this problem getting lots too many tabs this is cool because it’s actually not even like product base it’s still niche based but very relevant to the product right so let’s get back our and mmm again gosh guys I will find a faster way to do this and I will put it in the Evergreen training pen strike I wouldn’t have thought of that of course pen strike strike pen not tactical strike pen great evotech this must be another product they sell maybe it’s their upsell or something eeep survival pen isn’t that crazy so many people find so many different ways to strike pen scam so it’s okay to bid on this as a keyword it’s generally becoming less and less okay to use that as copy in your ad if you put such-and-such scam I know it gets super high click-through rates everybody on SEO does it but a lot of companies these days are starting to say if you put scam or con or whatever in advertising for us as an affiliate we’re not gonna pay you basically so keep that in mind also I just think it’s kind of a lousy way to sell things it’s just putting out some negative free Trump coins okay we’re gonna try it anyways tactical pen I think we’re already bidding on tactical pen yeah that’s the one keyword we have in there self defence pen and once we start running these we might actually break them out into different keywords now portable solar charger that’s interesting it gets 5,400 searches a month and it’s only 57 cents cost per click and it’s highly relevant to this that’s pretty interesting hmm I don’t know I might add it just to see we can always control this later by just looking at so I just did the note the quotes and brackets click combine now we just generated a bunch of keywords that we can use in both of these both Bing and syndicate syndicated click Save click Save all right so we just added a lot more keywords so hopefully we’ll start getting some more traffic and I added them as exact and phrase a lot of people will add things as broad and their campaigns get really crazy out of control really fast so let’s do something else for fun ad groups we have still gotten zero impressions they’re still only gotten 14 impressions there so hopefully we’ll get some more we up to the bid and we added a bunch more keywords but let’s create so what do you guys think about that this reverse engineering the landing page method have you used it before is that familiar to you I think it’s pretty good for affiliate marketing especially but even if you have your own product just to you know sometimes it’s hard to come up with all the keywords on your own and literally if you’re modeling if your ad hacky and your modeling success this will just literally give you some great keywords to start from so we talked about some of this other stuff before but being keyword tool we’ve been using in the last couple of modules let’s see Philip says used it before but learning a lot from watching awesome you glad Philip the keyword tools we’ve used both of those a lot the suggestions I talked about that last time so when we search bunkbed plans I always like to go down here this is like secret gold mine here especially if you have keywords everywhere because you can also see search volume and so you can see some other very very good keywords to add to any campaign because this is like this is literally Google’s telling you this is very related to what you just searched is these keywords here so definitely take advantage of that and then like I said on the last call Bing has the same thing let’s see if bump it plans free gets searched three hundred ninety five hundred ninety DIY down here same thing related searches woodworking plans for bunk beds I mean that’s an awesome keyword woodworking plans for bunk beds if your goal is to sell Ted’s Woodworking by getting people with bunk bed plans I mean what a perfect keyword and it’s it is getting searched because it’s being highlighted by Bing so you know for sure it’s getting searched no here’s the thing with the with the woodworking plans this is what I’m guessing sorts out the successful affiliates from the non with this particular product is that people are looking for a free plan so you need to you need to bridge the gap they were looking for a free plan they’re not looking for 16,000 plans some of those people are still interested in 16,000 plans that will just buy it anyways because you put you know put 16,000 and free for 16,000 plans in front of a woodworking person they’re probably going to be at least somewhat interested but if you actually give them exactly what they want then you can give them you know another layer of investment basically they they will have taken a little more action and you’ve given them giving them exactly what they want and then you can you know move them into the next phase plus you can collect their their email so I don’t necessarily recommend list building for every single niche I’ve just seen that doing some you know ad hacking stuff for this particular product on Clickbank that seems to be the most successful model cuz like there’s so much traffic out there there’s so much search going on for these woodworking plans but it’s not necessarily exactly relevant when somebody searches for a bunkbed plan they really just want to know how to build a bunk bed but they’re probably the kind of person who would like a 16,000 plans but that’s not where they’re at when they come to the search engine what they’re looking for is the bunk bed so I actually want to actually want to build this so so again I wanted to share these Reese research resources with you and I’m sure like a couple of you have said you’ve you’ve seen these before but like it can help to get more examples of how to use them how to go about doing research and how that turns into real campaigns with real search terms and real traffic so yes the Bing and Google keyword suggestions I’ll make this into like a PDF and I’ll include it in the members area as well and if you guys have any suggestions for other tools you can suggest suggest them right now as well and if if they’re not paid tools then we can take a look at them but these are the ones that I use and I think that between these you get like pretty much all the information you could ever want now there’s one on here I haven’t used yet you guys might have heard of it it’s called bing bang profits it’s an information product but it’s also a software they claimed to have like kind of like scraped add data of bing specifically so you might want to check that out they claim to be able to help you set up successful campaigns and like a few clicks or whatever so it’s like an automated process I haven’t used it yet so I don’t know how well it works but if somebody uses it and it works let us know I think it’s like 37 bucks and they do have training and stuff like that there it’s all about affiliate marketing so you can check that out but answer the public we looked at that as well another great source for keywords like longtail keywords longtail Pro I’m sure you guys have heard of this if you’ve been in marketing for a little while basically this is the the tool it is a paid tool I think you can get a free trial or something but let’s look at tactical strike pen and we’ll just see what kind of so they’ve they’ve been tracking keywords for a lot of years and they have it’s mostly used for SEO – no because they’re their angle is like which words keywords are not that competitive to start with for SEO but still a good source of keyword data to try to like understand what’s going on in a niche so benchmade tactical pen we didn’t see that in the related terms best tactical pen actually we didn’t even we didn’t even do that one best tactical pen for the money that’s a great one so if somebody’s searching for best tactical pen they might they would be pretty likely to be interested in a free tactical pen I would think cheap tactical pen that’s great embassy that’s just probably a brand impromptu Kershaw these are all brands tactical click pen didn’t that didn’t come up tactical ink pen see there’s so many ways that people search for stuff showing yeah titanium tactical pen all these would be great to add to the tactical pen keyword group alright so Phillip says horrible name but kind of useful keyword shooter calm yeah I agree it’s pretty funny let’s check that out Phillip says works with keywords everywhere Charles says I used it but I like add hacking better yeah same Phillip says like a I never had not to say this a her F eres aah refs a Raph’s right yeah I’ve used that tool before – I’ve dabbled in a little bit of Sto I’m sure there are some people here who are more experienced than me but yeah it’s just super advanced really amazing really amazing just understand everything about internet marketing tool basically but tracks keywords especially for especially for SEO so how do you use keyword shooter again is it like you just type in like tactical pen okay yeah so we got keywords everywhere popping up here positive negative let’s do it all right wow this is so cool and this is buy this is awesome thanks for sharing this I have seen it before but Wow yeah okay so if you want to go pretty wild here maybe this tool is the way to go and I kind of forgot about it let’s try this it’s probably gonna yell at us for having actually I’m sure some of this probably isn’t going to be very relevant but I also doubt that it’s gonna hurt anything this is not the sort of recommended you know density of keywords in an ad group but the fact that we’re not getting any impressions or clicks or anything is just making me want to I just want to get something going you know this isn’t like a pure clean kind of yeah dang it it’s probably just these ones up here I can remove but I just want to get something something rolling so normally I suggest you know having like ten ding well you get the idea so you could do that keyword that’s a good good place for keyword it’s a great place for keywords and then I guess it tells you here how many searches per month this is keywords everywhere giving us this breakdown tactical pen light tactical penguin that’s weird yeah tactical pen Gerber that’s cool yeah 17 cents to 94 cents this is some good stuff tactical in Amazon that’d be a great search to hijack tactical pens near me type of pen review self-defense Luzi this is great so yeah definitely check out keyword and um get keywords everywhere cuz that’s pretty good pretty good source that’s pretty good I like that and then so so the idea here is that we would like let all these keywords run for a little while and then start to cull them out to pull them out into their own you know Adwords that were more relevant so but we just want to get some clicks going still we’ve had looks like no new impressions oh we got some stuff disapproved keywords maybe these are gonna be the weapons based ones but again I’m just I’m not super like afraid of this anymore tactical pant taser okay Smith & Wesson yeah so these are all like automatic triggered you know weapon yeah weapons content okay yeah we forgot about that has that limitation on this particular topic so okay whatever SEM rush I’m not going to get into that tool it’s just a really advanced like SEO keyword tool but same thing same as like longtail Pro gives you lots of breakdown of keywords I don’t think you need it especially these days with keywords everywhere spyfu is another one you can use to look at like actual ads that have been running on Adwords okay so Phillip says if you put buyer keywords and you may get better results in keyword shooter all right let’s try that is that is that a specific filter you can use check or do you mean like manually putting in buyer stuff oh no unfortunately buyer keywords like it’s like where to buy tactical pen or something let’s try that bike tactical pen UK cheap tactical pen by tactical nuclear don’t all necessarily mean you’re actually gonna get zero it’s just kind of like lower lower volume in general so amazon.com another place you can look for keywords especially not if you’re doing like info products really but if you’re doing like ecommerce like let’s look at what’s on tactical or what do they prioritize for tactical pen and also key words everywhere gives you Amazon I think those are still Google results actually but tack the pen for self-defense tactical pens tactical pen flashlight type in Smith and Wesson’s we all kind of got those self-defense tool we picked up those but it can also be useful to see like what especially for writing ads you can look at the best selling ones so if they have the more reviews then they’re better selling basically a pen that can take a beating that’s a great headline rugged machine the steel body and stainless steel pocket clip these are all good be prepared all great copy number one best selling tactical pen all these awesome copy that you can use in your ads etsy.com better for like e-commerce stuff also just really good to understand how keywords work so it’s kind of cool to use a kind of older platform or whatever a newer platform than like Google because Google is very like particular about their keywords but keep but Etsy still raw I mean they’re just still but but it only works for certain types of products not obviously if you’re doing affiliate marketing you’re probably like why are we looking at Etsy but if you’re doing any e-commerce stuff like I just saw a YouTube YouTube video from Franklin Hatchett who’s talking about a popular e-commerce product right now that’s trending for the holidays which almost everything is is dog winter jacket so keywords everywhere also giving us keywords on this 750 searches a month for Etsy but you can look up some different ideas I won’t go too far too far into this stuff I know most of you are doing affiliate marketing but just want to offer that as a research source because I never can tell what you’re what you’re going to doing what with your Bing ads knowledge and I just want to offer that if you want to blow up your ecommerce store with the current with know about it but like pixabay is a good place to get free images it’s pretty unlikely they would have something so specific but they might have bunk beds Carlos says how much does it cost click click funnels per month its $97 a month for their basic plan and then it’s 297 dollars a month for like the unlimited plan where you can build as many funnels as you want that’s why I do think builder all is a good option because it’s $30 a month to have all those funnels that I just showed you and the ability you can create sales funnels and stuff or the other option like I said is optimize press you can install that that’s a wordpress plugin and it’s $97 one-time and you can use it on three different websites and then if you want to you can upgrade to 197 to use it on more so those are the three that I suggest click funnels the more affordable option is builder all $30 a month for unlimited funnels and everything and hosting of your landing pages and a lot of other marketing tools that are built in as well like an app creator some product like if you’re creating like little eBook images and stuff they have a built in ebook image creator and some other things and then the other one is optimized press so I’ll probably put like affiliate links to those in like below the replays but feel free to check those out click funnels is kind of like you know the top of the game but it’s really expensive and if you’re just getting started out in business it’s really tough to to take that cost you know I don’t really like any of these images I think we’re just gonna go with a real basic enter swipes honestly Connor and I will be talking a lot more about this like I said in the in the next couple weeks but email swipes not the best idea because a lot of them these things have probably been blasted out all over the world many many times they’re probably gonna get you into spam filters but you can at least take them and kind of change them up a bit so you know you can you can model them basically but but it’s pretty cool they give you some emails that you can send out to the email lists that you’re building ooh well this is interesting 50 free plans landing page so this is pretty cool so you could maybe you could try so here’s a here’s a great thing to try is you could try sending them directly to the VSL right so just to have this be a picture of the video that they go to the VSL is here so you can literally take a screenshot of this this is great to get access to 16,000 wood working plans it’s pretty cool you could take this this stuff and add it down below you can add it down below here all these little pieces of copy but basically you would just you just add an image of the video here instead of that video and you put all this stuff down below be totally no problem I think and then they would just click on that image to go over and and actually watch this video so that would be the thing pretty sure that would work pretty well but the other option is you could get them you know with their free bunkbed plan but then you could say hey I actually have another collection of 50 more free woodworking plans just click here and you could send them like you could take a screenshot of this with a tool like droplet or whatever and take a screenshot of this and just put it on your bridge page on this page and just put it there and then they’ll go and download the 50 free ones and they’ll go on the Ted’s Woodworking list and you’ll still get affiliate commissions but but yeah this is this is where you put this so I gotta say I am fading fast I’m getting very tired so I can’t really think too well right now so I’m gonna I’m gonna set up this campaign in between now in our next class and hopefully hopefully you got some some good stuff out of this basically to you know have some more resources at your disposal for doing really awesome really relevant research by using reverse engineering you Google ads and Bing ads and yeah so I’m gonna I’m gonna have to bonuses and it becomes a big selling point how can you get good bonuses to offer it’s good question Hey look we got another couple impressions in tactical pen he’s working so we went from 14 to 16 audience ads don’t know about those but cool we’re already getting more impressions just because we added a lot more keywords and we increased our bid so great place great places to get bonuses so you’ve probably heard of PLR right that’s one place so you can buy a PLR is like I forget what it stands for but it’s like basically you can use these you pay them one time and then you can use them however you want so you could you could buy something like this for like 16 bucks private label rights that’s what PLR stands for so you do that and it looks like you know they give you this this thing you could pay somebody to design bonuses or you could woodworking peel our articles so you can take these articles it looks like this is $2.99 you could take these articles and usually they allow you to repackage them into an e-book if you want or you can create an audio product have you could just read read the articles create an audio book use it to build a mailing list for free so you have to check the rights on these things but it looks like there’s lots of woodworking PLR and there are four most niches that’s probably the best way to get bonuses really fast yeah yeah so great Carlos says great tip is keyword plus PLR yeah mm-hmm and even I don’t know maybe I don’t know if this exists now but almost every niche you can find PLR and you can model the ones that they use as bonuses so if it’s like you know a diet offer and then the bonuses are like juicing guides or whatever you can look up juicing PLR I don’t know about this one I mean this is kind of just saying like yeah you’re gonna get everything but you can definitely find some auxilary things that are interesting to that niche I mean you could use the reverse engineering technique we already talked about to find some other things so like for example this strike pen we also saw that a combat bag was big things so you could be like you could write a appeal or not appeal or you could write a bonus that’s like top five combat bags reviewed you know you could probably pay some on Fiverr to do that to be honest and that actually would be a pretty good bonus for you know you know sign up to get I’ll show you where you can get my favorite tactical pen for free also I’m gonna send you a survival guide so I know there’s gonna be tons of peel our basic survival guide peel our survival peel our bundle I mean survival is a huge niche so there’s a lot of stuff in survival so instead of sending direct link or whatever to the tactical pen you could say you know just put in your name and email I’ll send you this secret link to my favorite you know tactical pen and also I’m also gonna send you my you know elite survival pack survival guide pack or whatever and you could just buy one of these PL RS with 135 articles you could repurpose them if you want change them from you know articles into videos you could turn them into like slide presentations yeah so definitely pilars probably the way to go but you can also like find really good YouTube videos and just collect them into like a members area you could say you get access to our private numbers area you could use like like actually I mean you could just use an opt-in page and put the members area on a blog article that nobody sees you just do that and just add like everything you can find you know every free piece of good content that you can find out there just put it all in on one blog page and call it like the private members area so they opt-in you give them a special secret link to your private members area and it goes to like a really cool blog page that you you have for free on a wordpress blog but it just has every single like sorted by the most popular YouTube videos like you know you just collect everything for them but you don’t even have to pay any money really just like put a bunch of really cool put a little bit of work into it put an hour two hours into collecting the best stuff online and it’s all freely that you put it all together in a nice-looking page and you’ve sent them the link like they will value that you have saved you’ve used some of your valuable time on this earth to save them time and marketer and focusing on the sports niche I bet you’re gonna be really tuned into some certain it’s probably why you’re on max bounty hunt there’s a lot of like health and fitness supplements and stuff you should look for some unique like you know it’s really big in affiliate marketing I think but I don’t know how to do it is and I don’t know it might not even it might not be ethical you know because you’re actually a big fan of sports but there’s a lot of like betting you know gambling stuff I would feel weird promoting stuff like that but you know it’s everybody’s individual decision I bet you could you could just do better promoting like supplements that you really believe in now maybe like information products about different sports I just read you know the launch book by Jeff Walker and he said or he had a he had a case study with somebody who ran a tennis site and they made a lot of money hey Carlos says yeah that happens to me gambling betting I’m staying away from that yeah that’s a good call sometimes you know I’m not there’s just some products I really just don’t want I don’t want to promote because I don’t want more of that in the world I don’t want to help more people get addicted to gambling so it’s just a personal choice it’s up to you anyways alright guys I gotta go to bed thank you again so much I hope I hope you got some cool information about this you
