Are you a nonprofit organization looking for a way to collect donations? A donate form can be a great way to do this, and WordPress is a great platform to create one on. In this article, we’ll show you how to create a donate form for nonprofit organizations using WordPress.

Creating a Donate Form in WordPress

First, you’ll need to install and activate the WPForms plugin. For more details, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Upon activation, you’ll need to visit the WPForms » Add New page to create a new form.

On the next screen, you’ll need to give your form a name and then select the Donations form template.

This will launch the WPForms form builder with the donation form template pre-loaded. You can now start customize the form fields and other settings.

You can add, edit, or delete the existing form fields by dragging and dropping them. WPForms comes with pre-built smart fields for collecting donations. These are the Donation Amount, Donation Note, and Credit Card fields.

The Donation Amount field lets people specify how much they want to donate. The Donation Note field can be used to add a note explaining the donation. The Credit Card field is used to input credit card information.

You can also add new form fields from the left panel. WPForms comes with a wide variety of form fields that you can add to your form.

Once you are satisfied with the form fields, you can click on the Settings tab to configure the general settings for your form.

On the Settings tab, you can configure the form name, description, andapal settings. You can also enable form confirmation settings and choose how you want to redirect users after a successful donation (i.e. to a thank you page).

WPForms also allows you to enablereCaptha and anti-spam settings to protect your form from spam submissions.

Once you are done configuring the settings, you can click on the Save button to store your changes.

Now that you have created your WordPress donation form, it’s time to add it to your website.

Adding WordPress Donation Form to Your Website

There are two ways to add your WordPress donation form to your website.

You can either add it to a post or page, or you can display it in a sidebar widget.

Adding WPForms to a Post or Page

Adding WPForms to a post or page is very easy. Simply edit the post or page where you want to add the form and click on the Add Form button.

This will bring up a popup where you can select the form you want to add.

Once you have selected the form, you can click on the Add Form button to insert it into your post or page.

Adding WPForms to a Sidebar Widget

If you want to display your WordPress donation form in a sidebar widget, then you’ll need to add the WPForms widget to your sidebar.

First, you need to visit the Appearance » Widgets page and drag the WPForms widget to your sidebar.

Next, you need to select the form you want to display in the sidebar.

Once you are done, click on the Save button to store your changes.

Your WordPress donation form is now ready and you should start seeing donations coming in.
