Do you want to learn how to use FTP to upload files to WordPress? It’s not as difficult as you might think! In this article, we’ll walk you through the process step by step, so that you can get started using FTP to upload files to WordPress.

First, you’ll need to choose an FTP client. We recommendFileZilla, which is a free, open-source FTP client that works on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Once you’ve downloaded and installed FileZilla, launch the program and enter your WordPress site’s domain name, username, and password.

Next, you’ll need to connect to your WordPress site via FTP. To do this, click the “Quickconnect” button in the FileZilla interface.

Once you’re connected, you’ll see two panels in the FileZilla interface. The left panel shows the files and directories on your local computer, while the right panel shows the files and directories on your WordPress site.

To upload a file to your WordPress site, simply drag and drop the file from the left panel to the right panel. The file will be uploaded to the directory that you’re currently in. For example, if you’re in the “wp-content” directory, the file will be uploaded to the “wp-content” directory on your WordPress site.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully uploaded a file to your WordPress site via FTP.
