all right the last troubleshooting thing at least for now maybe there will be more added later is no conversions a lot of people a lot of people come to me with this and the first thing I say is how much money have you spent so many people come to me and they say oh I spent ten dollars I’ve spent fifteen dollars and no conversions and they’re outraged I oh man this is so ridiculous to me I saw the same thing when I was doing Shopify with Facebook ads so many people in a top-level coaching group that people pay a thousand dollars or more to get into we’re coming into the group and saying I spent $5.00 and no conversions it’s wild to me so if this is your expectation currently you got to get get in there and start getting some experience because your expectations are way out of whack if you expect to spend five dollars and instantly the first thing you ever do it just makes you know $50 $50 $50 $50 and you’re within a few days you’re making a thousand okay fine that can happen you might nail something there are some people who are really really good at just recognizing trends or keywords or they just have killer copy or whatever and you can do that it is possible but it’s not the most look the most common scenario the most common scenario is you test something it gets decent results it has the benchmarks of success that we talked about earlier and then you work on it you optimize it it might not take much sometimes you’re profitable on day one those are the best campaigns when you’re profitable right away and that really gives you encouragement but again going through this whole training course is gonna give you the skill sets to know exactly what to do to make it better and again you shouldn’t be asking how little do I have to do to make some money you should be asking how do I make the most amount of money from my investment so change your thinking and change your expectations if you’ve spent five ten fifteen dollars I mean if you’re trying to sell aspect we’ll talk about this in a second but if you’re trying to sell a $50 thing I mean you’re you’re looking in the luck the luck the you know the rare occurence stream if you’re if you’re hoping to get on day one with no effort no optimization no testing no new ads no testing of offers to just right away make hundreds of dollars on your fifteen dollar investment I mean you just got to work work on your expectation so it doesn’t mean it can’t happen it can happen but you got a skill build up your skills learn this stuff so that you look at it with fresh eyes and you go wow I actually spent $10 to make $10 which I first saw as a failure but now I realized once I have my tracking setup and I go look at the tracking I actually spent ten dollars to make ten dollars but that was on all three device platforms if I look at just mobile I just spent a dollar to make ten dollars maybe actually cut out desktop and tablet for now and work on just mobile and keep split testing the ads and maybe I can make you know $20 for every dollar that I spend and then I could you know that’s that’s the true that’s what you’re working towards so it’s okay if you know none of that stuff makes sense now but the most common reason that people haven’t made any conversions is they just haven’t spent that much money and it’s relevant to every single offer and every campaign blah blah you know it shouldn’t take you as much if you have a high converting email submission thing that pays out a dollar two dollars it shouldn’t take you fifty dollars to make a conversion that’s correct so how do you know how much you should have spent this is a rough guideline from you know all media buyers kind of have their own conclusion that they come to but the rough one that you can start with is have you spent at least one times your target CPA so if you’re trying to get $50.00 conversions have you spent at least $50 if you’re expecting that and if you haven’t spent that yet then it shouldn’t be a surprise they haven’t made conversions is everything working this is another one that you should check into are all the pieces of the funnel working the before the click during the click and after the click are all of them technically working are your ads going to is your sometimes what can happen is if you set up a tracking software like click magic you’ll forget that you actually changed the landing page a while ago so your click magic your ad is working perfectly fine and Bing and when you test it from Bing it goes to the right landing page but then you’re forgetting that it’s getting passed through a tracking template and the tracking template is set up wrong so it’s actually going to a page that is completely irrelevant so you just got to work through all the steps and make sure that everything is working technically make sure your website’s loading make sure you know if you’re promoting affiliate offer that their website is loading etc another one is the is the offer proven are you just picking some random offer off of you know whatever affiliate network I did this in the beginning I just kind of picked what I wanted to promote instead of actually finding out what was working I just picked some random offer that who knows if it converts so that’s like a different thing altogether we’ll talk about more later but the next one if you’re not getting conversions are you getting clicks from relevant queries I told you about the example where I was promoting click funnels and there’s a TV show called funnel vision and also people are searching for funnels like wooden funnels paper funnels you know funnels for funneling liquid so I was getting clicks I was paying clicks for clicks from those very very very irrelevant queries so you got to get in there look at your search terms which I’m gonna show you in a second this is where you find it you go into your keywords for your ad group or your campaign or whatever you click on the keywords that you want to investigate and then you click details and you click select it and it will show you the search queries that that triggered those keywords so that will be shown in specific demonstration later you know on video but this is the Quick Start Guide just want to get you started and so this is the next thing for troubleshooting if you’re not getting inversions does the offer suck you just kinda making an offer or did you like let’s say you work with Affiliate Network like Macs bounty did you ask your affiliate representative your affiliate manager what works well on bing that would be the first place to start go ask what offers work well on being instead of just randomly picking something unless you have some sort of like expertise in that particular offer you know something that most people don’t know then you might be able to make it work anyways but you can just ask them what’s working on bing if you’re on Clickbank look at the gravity is it does it get at least 20 gravity you know are people actually making sales the difference in offers is tremendous I mean you can have two different offers that are basically the same but something about the copy something about the the funnel afterwards just there’s something about it that people just respond to better and it’s it can be like magnitudes of difference between two different very similar seeming offers so a lot of times the offer can be the problem if you’re doing your own offer your own funnel and it’s not converting you’re not getting conversions then you need to work on funnel hacking and ad hacking and figure out what works in that niche instead of whatever random idea that you had and you put on the page go find what’s working in your niche and model it that’s the way that you’re gonna get to success much faster so this is an example if you if you we click on selected or if you click on yeah selected for a particular broad match or phrase match keyword then it will show you these are so this is like a broad match keyword but these are the things that people actually typed into their browser or into bing.com to get that broad match to show and to get your add to trigger so some of these might be really bad I mean who knows maybe people searching for the 30-day paleo challenge don’t care at all about paleo recipes you know so or maybe you know print paleo recipes who knows if they’re relevant to this particular term so dig into your search terms and see what you’re showing for you might be showing four completely irrelevant things and that might be why you’re not getting any conversions and yeah check your copy and don’t be afraid remember that paid traffic requires investing some money and learning and optimizing all successful paid traffic affiliates media buyers they all optimized they all learn what works and they model it and then they improve it from there and so you take something that’s not working and turn it into something that’s working but they all but they all start with you know proven landing page models proven offers that are already converting proven ad copy and then can continue to optimize further so hope you enjoyed the troubleshooting if you have any other things other
