what’s up everyone it’s the nomads Brad and in this video I’m gonna show you how to direct link to Clickbank products in Bing ads and I’m gonna try to show it to you in less than 15 minutes if you don’t know who I am I’m the nomad Brad and I talked about affiliate marketing and I’m the creator of the Bing ads bootcamp I’ve helped lots of people learn how to use Bing ads to start making this video for a bunch of free training links and other resources so in this video we’re gonna cover how to direct link Clickbank products and Bing ads this is probably the most common thing that people ask me to learn how to do so I’m just gonna show you how to do it so you can get up and running by the way this also works for Macs bounding the same process you’ll just have to do a couple different things to set up your tracking so in this video we’re gonna cover what you’re gonna need for this process how to choose a product setting up your tracking which is super important I’ll talk about in a second and how to launch your campaign and again I’m gonna try to do it in less than 15 minutes so what you’re gonna need this is non-negotiable for this particular strategy you really since you’re doing direct linking that means you’re sending clicks directly to an affiliate product you really don’t have any leverage points other than what happens inside your ad account so what that means is you have to know exactly what’s going on you have to know exactly what’s what’s happening exactly which keywords are converting which ads etcetera so you need a tracking solution the easiest way to get started is get clickmagick you can check there’s a link below this video to get a free trial to click magic I think it’s 14 days and even after that it’s pretty darn affordable I don’t use any other tracking software so you know just go with clickmagick it’s the easiest to use it’s it’s amazing it’s so powerful so one thing you’re gonna have to do before this video and I’m not gonna get into it because it’s kind of techy is to integrate clickmagick with Clickbank if you see if you once you set up your clickmagick account just type in just go over here to the help and the FAQ is a knowledge base you just type in Clickbank something-something click search and it says can I link my Clickbank with clickmagick so just just read this do exactly what they say they have really awesome help here and they also have really amazing support so if you get caught up on it just just do that so again get a free trial click magic through my link below and you can get started with that take a few minutes might take you half an hour whatever talk with them to integrate click magic with Clickbank you only have to do that one time and then all of your tracking is gonna be amazing from then on the next thing you’re gonna need is a Bing ads account you can get it this for free anybody can get it Bing ads account if you want to there’s a couple ways to get your first hundred dollars for free don’t try to game them though a lot of people come to me and they’re like you know I keep trying to use Bing discount coupons and I just think that’s stupid so they I mean yeah it’s just dumb so you can get a free hundred dollars though so go ahead you can check out a video a couple of videos I made about different ways to get a hundred dollars but basically if you just go to Google and search being 100 ollar coupon they’ll give you a hundred dollars but don’t keep trying to start account so it’s really stupid they’re gonna catch on and probably gonna start banning you from opening accounts so just don’t do that alright so the third thing is a Clickbank account obviously you’re gonna be promoting Clickbank products so you need a Clickbank account if you don’t have that yet I have a link to join in the video description below so the first thing here is to choose a product a lot of people get stuck here but what I always say is that you can promote any product with Bing so I’m going to open up this demo account that I use for you know showing things publicly on YouTube so basically this is Clickbank you go into Clickbank and there’s lots of different ways to choose products if you have a particular insight into a niche that’s a really good place to start looking for a gravity score of at least like you need to know that some people are promoting it and making money if it has a gravity score of zero then don’t bother with it it probably isn’t gonna sell there’s lots of different thoughts on this you can check out a video that I made on YouTube about more details on picking a product but honestly you really can promote just about any product on being there’s people searching for almost every subject out there a lot of Clickbank products are made they’re designed around a specific keyword so a lot of people here’s here’s one thing you don’t want to do is don’t try to promote weight loss products a lot of people this I mean obviously it’s the top product on Clickbank it makes a lot of money it’s got a huge gravity gravity score just tells you like how many affiliates are successfully promoting this product right now there’s 244 that’s a huge gravity score so this product is doing really well but a lot of people get really disappointed because I go into Bing and they start trying to bid and they can’t get clicks and I can’t really explain it but for some reason though it’s just so competitive that it’s kind of hard to get close but so don’t so don’t do weight loss that’ll be my one my one tip unless you have some you know insight and do it I have seen people do it successfully but it takes a little trickery so you’re just starting out don’t bother with weight loss try to pick another topic that gets a lot of search volume and we’ll show that will show how to figure that out in the second so keto that’s a huge niche I mean you could sell this one for sure manifestation is a little tricky with keywords but this one you know the diabetes offers the that’s kind of like up to you ethically if you check out the product and you think it’s a good thing to promote there’s definitely a lot of keyword traffic for diabetes not very competitive battery reconditioning see this is like this is a product a perfect example of a product that’s designed around a specific keyword they saw that people were searching for this thing so they created a product on Clickbank and it does really really well its got a gravity 49 let’s choose this product this is what most people end up choosing I’ve I’ve worked with a lot of people starting this process and they almost always end up on Ted’s Woodworking because I think it’s a good fit you know you can you there’s tons and tons of keywords for woodworking there’s lots of different angles that you can use to get people into this product and basically what the product is if you if you click on any link here inside of Clickbank it’s gonna bring up their sales page so basically this is just a product that has 16,000 woodworking plans and for some reason this just goes bananas but look I mean all these different things are like keywords that could that could potentially lead to sales so it’s a huge niche gets tons of search and it’s perfect for being so let’s just start there so but but honestly there’s so many different niches just search through a category that interests you and you know just try it out a lot of people they just they try to spend too much time trying to figure out you know with these keyword tools and all this stuff like what to do just the best way to learn what’s gonna work with paid ads affiliate marketing is just start running campaigns and start watching the data you really don’t know people ask me like you don’t know until you see the clicks come in what’s actually gonna work so just start running campaigns you’re gonna get better at it you’re gonna learn more and if you have clickmagick setup you’re gonna know exactly what correlates to sales so you’re gonna have to you know set that up but there’s tons of tons of products as long as they have a gravity of definitely more than zero but let’s say more than 10 then there’s a potential that there’s a hungry market there and not not all of the converting products are on the first page like a lot of people get stuck on this first page and because they want it to just be some crushing success right away I’m gonna be honest it’s probably not going to be the way that you make profitable campaigns is you optimize so you need to get the traffic started and then you can optimize based on what works you can start eliminating key words you can start adding keywords you can split test ads and stuff like that you’re probably not gonna run traffic day one and make you know 300 dollars but you can it’s possible I’ve seen people do it but it’s not it’s not it’s not common so again almost any of these products will work just you just have to find a way to angle them don’t start with weight loss that’s those are my best tips to get started so pick a product that interests you that’s got some gravity and we’re gonna see if there’s traffic on on Bing which there probably is if it’s a product on Clickbank so that covers choosing a product if you want more in-depth stuff about how to pick a product on Clickbank check below the video there’s another YouTube video so the next thing is to set up your tracking this is very simple you’re just gonna go to the product you want to promote in this case Ted’s Woodworking click on promote putting your account nickname is gonna already be there if you are if you have your Clickbank account and then just for now just like put something in the tracking ID I’ll show you why in a second so it’s gonna give you this hop link this is their affiliate link this is your unique affiliate link just copy that by clicking this little copy button or you can highlight it and copy it next thing is you’re gonna go to click magic and you go to go to go to links and you’re gonna create a new link and you can call it you know woodworking and you can call this whatever you want it this doesn’t really matter nobody’s gonna see this link and then paste your click Matt click bank link in here now we put in a value for a tid this is a tracking ID that’s gonna be tracking between quick magic and clipping we need to do here is you’re gonna put in at the end of T ID equals you’re gonna put in bracket click ID close bracket then you’re gonna click create link so now we have this woodworking link and it’s created a tracking link now you want to test this real quick here’s what you want to test it for you’re gonna copy this paste it in your browser so what’s going to happen is click magic just redirected that link through through this link your click magic link it got redirected to Clickbank and it already put in your affiliate ID and all that stuff so just real quick the way you want to test it is to click on there and Add to Cart button and then scroll down to the bottom this is their checkout page and scroll down the bottom just to check affiliate equals and then it should be your account ID and then it’s gonna have this unique click ID generated by click magic every single click that goes through that link is gonna get a new unique unique ID associated with it and it’s gonna be right here and that’s gonna be really really important later when you’re doing when you’re tracking your results so we’ve set up our tracking the next thing we’re gonna do is launch our campaign so the first thing we’re gonna go to Bing ads we’re gonna go to create campaign we’re gonna go to visits to my website and then you’re gonna just name it would working us just do your campaigns by by country the United States is where I always start so type go to let me to specific locations click target now it’s only gonna target people in the US you can start with any budget you want doesn’t matter I’m gonna say ten dollars per day and then down here this is really important uncheck people searching for or viewing about your locations click English yeah okay so I already have one called wicking so I’m gonna go save and go to the next step for now you can just say my website is not ready and now we’re gonna go woodworking for ad group and type bang I’ll show you why in a second now for keywords so that accepts keywords really so this is what I do I get I do 1 5 15 so one broad match keyword so that’s just like the broad keyword that you’re gonna be targeting in general and then like five phrase match so you put phrase match in in quotes so you know woodworking plans it’s gonna be a big one plan woodworking guide and woodworking templates blueprint all right so so these are the phrase match if you want to know more about how keywords work and and whatever check out a video below that I made explaining how keywords work better so we’ve got five things here let’s look over here for some ideas here’s here’s a good ad group so woodworking projects we’re gonna add that as a exact match that’s with brackets around it so that means that only people who search for this exact thing are going to be targeted small woodworking projects that’s fine so just go ahead and keep keep looking for keywords that you think are gonna be super relevant and then just add one broad match at the top that’s relevant to your ad group and then add as many exact match keywords as you want honestly you can add as many as you want but you can start with like 15 or 20 or so but in the interest of time let’s move on alright so the next step is to create your ad and this is way simpler than people make it out to be since you’re doing a direct linking thing first off make sure that the product that you’re promoting allows this some some don’t allow you to do this so just just make sure that’s up to you so copy this final URL that it’s gonna redirect to put that there and then you can just take a headline from the sales page so sixteen thousand wood plans honestly like well one trick for making higher click-through rates is to include your keyword in your in the top first title part one so we’re gonna put woodworking in there next announcing the world’s let’s just say the world’s largest collection and then we’re gonna say get access if you want to you can put a price in here if you want to like weed out the looky-loos that’s up to you you can split test it here you just want to put the the keyword again woodworking plans and then for the description again just like look through the sales page so sixteen thousand you know look for four bullet points of like what’s important to these people so we’re gonna say its largest collection lands easy to follow step by step and then never have to know the most important part is the first the first part of the title alright so we put the final URL you’ll notice this is not our affiliate link and I’ll show you what to do with that in a second click Save alright so down here ignore all this stuff you’ve got $10 a day budget do not do enhanced CPC or maximize clicks go to manual change the bid I always just start at 30 cents and then this parts important add distribution we’re gonna go to Bing AOL and syndicated probably not for the reason that you think I’m gonna share with you in a second why all right I just had to grab something real quick so by the way if you kind of get confused and you want some more step-by-step instruction on this or just to recap this I’m gonna create a free little mini course you can download but I just give me your email there should be a link below for this direct linking process so check that out all right so we got our ad we got our now we need to get our tracking URL and for that we’re gonna go to click magic and we’re going to open the link that we created the woodworking link grab this tracking link now we’re gonna go into the ad that we created and down here again right now this is not associated with our affiliate account at all so to do that we’re gonna have to paste our click magic link in here and then you want to paste some things called tokens I’m not gonna explain exactly what they are but basically they give you lots of lot really important information so that when you run a campaign this is what it looks like in click magic when you setup your tokens properly so it’s gonna show you exactly what they search for it’s gonna show you what match type what device they were on and what network so yeah again go into click magic and search for Bing ads tokens and you can see all the different tokens you can use let’s list it here so I have my list of favorites that I’m just gonna copy in the order that I like to use them and this is it so it’s gonna track query string so it’s gonna track exactly what they search for to generate the conversion match type exact phrase abroad again check video below if you want to know what those mean device so if it’s on a tablet mobile or computer the network if it’s on the Bing network which is bing.com AOL com msn.com or if it’s on the syndicated network which is like a whole bunch of different web sites that being hat owns and then the ad ID is going to tell you the specific ad that generated the sale so now we’ve got that in there and it’s going to go through our click magic ID and it’s going to collect all of those tokens as data from Bing and it’s going to pass those on the click magic and then click magic is going to show you when you make conversions exactly you know this is like this is for a different woodworking thing for a shed project thing so it shows you exactly what they saw for plans for a she shed this is an exact match they searched on a computer it was on the home network so it was on Bing or AOL or whatever and this is the specific unique add that generated it even tells you their IP address the country that came from the browser and the operating system so you need this once you start making conversions you absolutely need this so you know exactly what generated the conversions so we got our tracking URL we got our Bing tokens the next step the final step is to duplicate your campaign I’ll show you how to do that in a second all right so the next thing is going to involve getting something called the well now it’s called the Microsoft ad advertising editor it’s basically a very powerful tool for managing lots of different functions in PPC campaigns you don’t have to worry about most of it for that for now for a long time probably all you’re really gonna be using for it is to duplicate your ad groups so you you heard me mention the different networks there’s two different networks this is a huge thing that you could do to optimize quickly is to separate the Bing Network from the syndicated network again syndicated network is like all these random websites that Bing runs ads on they can convert really well sometimes sometimes not that’s why you want to separate them and then same thing with Bing AOL Yahoo they’re all part of the big network so if you remember we set up our ad group just go over to the campaign you set up click on the ad group click on ad groups over here and it says network distribution we chose only Bing AOL and Yahoo websites so that’s good and it’s gonna be tracked and clickmagick so we’re gonna know which one’s doing better and we just want to copy this exact everything now that we set up our tracking link we got a click magic thing it’s all gonna get copied over we’re gonna paste it and this is doing a lot of really crazy stuff you can really go far with this this this software is amazing it’s it’s built to help you run like ad agencies and stuff so it’s really powerful but then you’re just gonna change this indicated in the name sino and then you’re gonna change the network distribution to syndicated and then you’re just gonna click post this is a really fast easy way to replicate your results so if you’re uploading lots of different campaigns lots of ads you’re changing lots of keywords etc then learn how to use this tool it’s really amazing I think I might have a video on it somewhere on my youtube channel it’s kind of old but alright so that’s the I believe that’s the last step here duplicate campaign again if you want to kind of review all this stuff then that’s how you set up your campaigns if we go and we refresh our Woodworking campaign and the and the web editor here it’s gonna show that our other ad group was uploaded it’s a syndicated so now your ads are gonna have to go get approved they usually get approved really quickly it’s very likely this could start getting real impressions and clicks within a couple hours sometimes people say it takes a couple days I’ve in my experience it usually takes a couple hours but different people different experience and so that’s it if you just do this and keep launching campaigns and keep learning from the data and keep keep watching your clickmagick tracking then you’re gonna eventually find success here that it’s very simple it’s like the simplest place to start for paid traffic affiliate marketing now there’s lots of other ways to improve the performance of these campaigns to scale into other things as well so other than the links listed below this video I’d love to talk to you for a could also use it for any other style of business I really think Bing is one of the best opportunities out there that nobody’s really understanding or tapping into because it’s very free for people to
