what’s up everybody in this video I’m gonna give you a quick updated version of something that a lot of people have asked for which is how to set up campaigns with Clickbank and landing pages alright so I’ll put a link below this video by the way this has been updated in February of 2020 but it’s gonna be pretty similar to the previous video but I just wanted to update a couple things about clickmagick but the same concept still apply and if you look to the reference material that I talked about in the video it’s – you can click magics help then you’re still going to find you’re going to find the most up-to-date information and that applies even if you’re watching this video – so always check with clickmagick to see what their latest you know specifics are but i’m gonna show you the whole process so you know what’s going on alright so what you’re gonna need for this this is if you want to send traffic from Bing ads to a landing page and then from a landing page to Clickbank now I won’t spend too much time convincing you because I do that a lot in the course but you need clickmagick and you might say well can I use this other this free thing or volume or whatever feel free to do it it’s just I don’t I’ve never used anything but click magic so I’m just going to teach you click magic because I think it’s what everybody should at least start with until you’re making so much money that you need to upgrade to volume or whatever to handle to handle all the volume then go for it I wouldn’t use anything that’s like free or anything I would just stick with click magic anyways the reason you need click magic is cuz when you’re doing affiliate marketing Bing ads can’t report things in its own dashboard so you’re gonna need a third party service in the middle to give you data like which keywords converted which devices that click was on and stuff stuff like that to match up with the sales data so it’s really really important I would say it’s absolutely essential if you don’t have this tracking you’re really not going to be able to optimize your campaigns at all you’re basically just shooting in the dark and hoping that you you’re spending money and it’s profitable and you’ll have nowhere to go after that so that’s my first little bit I’m not gonna go into it more detail throughout the course so you’re so I’m just gonna assume you have click magic and show you there all right so what you’re gonna need is a Clickbank hop link that’s easy enough to get I’ll show you a review but you know you need a link to your affiliate product the next thing you’re gonna need click magic it needs to be integrated with in this case with Clickbank and by the way I made a you know a video in the original version of the course so you can click here in this little checklist which should be below this video a link to this checklist to go watch that video real quick to learn how to do it but again always check with clickmagick they’re gonna have the most up-to-date thing and they’ll help you with it too if you can’t figure it out just message their support they’re amazing and they’ll they’ll help you get it a set up so you only have to integrate click magic and Clickbank one time click your click magic account with your Clickbank account just one time and then you never have to think about it again so get that done now the next thing you’re gonna need is a landing page I recommend that you start with something simple and you can test things later so a while ago on my youtube channel I put together a quick decent you know starting place for a very simple landing page now you can add more bells and whistles here a lot of times this is good enough to actually get sales because you’re doing but with Bing ads search ads you’re getting such qualified traffic because you know what they searched so you know who they are basically what they’re looking for and you really just kind of have to put a quick little thing in front of them to get them to go to the offer and then the offer is an optimized sales message so it’s gonna do the job of selling so I really think you’re fine to just mmm start out like this and then start adding things later to you know if you’re not quite profitable or if you want to increase your profits then you start adding conversion elements you know like testimonial images or before-and-after images or whatever I mean this it’s always your responsibility to look at what’s you know compliant with Bing what kind of words are compliant with being what’s compliant with working with the Clickbank vendor you know they’re all going to have their own rules too so it’s always your responsibility to be in compliance with everything but this is the basic format you can start out with and I’ve made a lot of sales from Clickbank products on bing just using a landing page that was essentially this simple so just start here have do do the best you can to put together a great headline get them to click on you know an image here and or get them to click on a big giant button just so they can get over to the sales message you really just need them to get to the sales message this does have an advantage over direct linking because number one you can start split testing different things on this page to increase your conversion it also has an advantage because a lot of vendors don’t allow you to do direct linking and so you just have to have a landing page a lot of them require that you have your own landing page to begin with so it’s really good to learn landing pages and sometimes it’s essential so we’re gonna start with this landing page which by the way you can get for free this is using click funnel so we’re gonna use click funnels in this again it’s gonna be a similar process whatever tool you’re using but I’m just gonna assume you have click funnels or recommend that you get click funnels and if you click the link right here to download bridge 10 bridge page template and click funnels then you can actually download this exact landing page into your click funnels account so you can start there and if you don’t have click funnels it’ll start a trial and it’s an affiliate link so if you end up doing that that’d be awesome thank you very much and let me know if you need any help with quick funnels I can help you get that setup but anyways so let’s let’s get back to it back to the process here again I’m gonna recommend you know there’s some links in here to look at click magic references just to get the most up-to-date stuff if you’re watching this later after I record it all right so create your landing page and I’ll re add this this link again to just go ahead and get a template I might even put some more links in here later if I feel ambitious – maybe some other templates you know let’s some different types of landing pages different examples stuff like that but this is the basic one and it really is good enough to get started in most cases and and often to make sales depending on what you bring to the table you know what images you choose the headline that you choose etc but it’s really there’s an infinite potential with split testing but you can start here so step two after you have your landing page set up is to install the clickmagick javascript code on your thank-you page that doesn’t mean anything to you then just click on this link and go read this article inside the clickmagick knowledgebase search search for that but as of right now this is the code that needs to go on your landing page in what this code does is it basically lets click magic manipulate code on your page so anywhere that you put certain things which I’ll show you in a second then click magic is gonna go in and swap out some data so all you have to do for this step is just go into your tracking code if you’re using clickfunnels mmm and if you use another software similar process go into the footer code here and paste in that code and then close it click Save and then you’re all set with that step mmm so that’s fine now excuse me I’ve been sick lately all right so get your affiliate link Clickbank in this example I made this to be more general but so you’re gonna go into your Clickbank account and click on the the product that you want to promote and it’s gonna put in your you know account nickname and then you can put in a little placeholder here for a second just to just slow the ads it will properly add this slash question mark tid equals F F I’ll explain that more later but this is you know keep this handy to keep this hoplink handy okay now create a click magic tracking link so that’s the next step you’re gonna need to have your clickmagick account open as well put in the URL of your opt-in page as opt-in page your landing page as the primary URL so if you’re using click funnels then okay so we save that then we’re gonna go back and you’re gonna take this URL this is gonna be the final URL of your landing page and you’re gonna put it in as a primary URL in your you’re gonna go in your click magic account you’re going to click create new link and you’re going to name it whatever you want to name it and then for the primary URL you’re gonna put in your landing page and so that’s going to be a primary URL and then you’re gonna insert this code this is the updated part by the way my previous training it’s the exact same concept and I’m pretty sure the old code still works but they’ve just changed a bit of how they work and click magic house so don’t freak out it’s probably it probably works just the same I just wanted to make this so it’s more updated so copy this question mark cm underscore s 1 equals a bracket click ID bracket and you’re gonna put it at the end of your primary URL in click Matt click magic you’re gonna paste that now you’re gonna click create link now our new link is right here in click magic and it’s got our primary URL the the clickfunnels URL right here and then it has the new code question mark cm underscore s 1 equals click ID so that’s all good to go and it looks similar here you know on this other example I’m a landing page you’re gonna insert your button or your links you’re gonna have them go to your Clickbank hop link so I’m gonna show you that in a second so it’ll make sense and then you’re gonna add question mark T ID equals underscore bracket CM underscore s1 so we’re gonna copy this no we’re gonna go let’s go to our landing page now for anywhere on your page mmm that you want two people to be clicking through and going to the Clickbank link then you’re gonna want to put this in so the first thing you’re gonna put in is your Clickbank link right here you’re gonna copy it and then you’re gonna go to your mm landing excuse me your landing page paste it in and now you’re gonna replace question mark T ID equals you’re going to replace whatever placeholder you put in this case I put FF at the end there and you’re gonna instead have this bracket cm underscore s1 I know this is confusing but I promise just do it a few times run through the process ask me if you need any help come to the private Facebook group for the Bing ads bootcamp 2.0 you can ask me I’ll help you through it you can hop on a call or whatever so don’t don’t worry about it just do it if you try to do it a few times ask the click magic support they can help you out too they’re really great better at explaining technical stuff than me sometimes all right so this looks this looks right so we’re gonna copy that and put it anywhere that you want people to click and go to the to the offer if you want to turn any text into a link then you’re gonna you know click on that and paste it there any button you know any text in a paragraph that you want to put on there if you’re doing like a like an advertorial style landing page anything like that so then you’re gonna click Save so now what we’ve got is somebody’s gonna click on our ad they’re gonna go to they’re gonna Bing is gonna send out some data we’ll cover this more in a second it’s gonna send out some data with the click it’s going to go through click magic click magics gonna generate a unique click ID and then it’s gonna that person is gonna land on your landing page and in their browser the unique click ID is going to be saved the code on this landing page is going to insert the unique click ID into wherever you tell it to wherever you put bracket cm underscore s1 it’s gonna put your unique click ID in there and then people are gonna click on it and go through to Clickbank and then it’s all going to get tracked back to click magic and you’re gonna see all of your data mmm so again I know it sounds confusing but just try it out and ask me it’ll make sense and once you figure it out once it’ll be easy from then on and you absolutely need to do this mmm all right step 7 test the click ID passing so copy and paste your click magic tracking URL into your browser look if land on landing page this is adapted from another tutorial look if the clickmagick click idea is present in the URL and then hover over the button to see if it’s transferred to the button link so let me show you how to do that copy this open I like to open a new incognito window paste it now it’s going to redirect and you can see up here a brand new click magic click ID has been generated it’s one two three four five six seven eight nine characters if we were to put the link in again it should in my gender it might generate the same nine five four one five three let’s see okay yeah one nine zero so every time we use that that click magic tracking link it’s going to generate a new instance of someone clicking on that link so if we look if we refresh our links it should have registered yes so it’s registered three clicks and it’s got you know some of the the stats there alright so the next thing is to test that it’s passing through to the buttons and stuff so this is happening because of that code that we pasted in the footer of the page it’s swapping out every time it’s gonna take this unique thing and fill it in wherever we told it wherever we put that CM underscore s1 code so let’s see I can’t see the links down at the bottom of the page so I’m just gonna paste them in here so you can see now this button has taken our Clickbank hop link and then it’s added question mark tid equals and then it has a unique click ID so this is unique to the person who clicked on the link from this one ad this is really important so now that should work fine so if we open it just like they would it’s going to open the training you it’s gonna open the sales page and then the best way to check that this is all happening and I believe I’m about to say that in this yeah okay oops alright so copy and paste uh land and landing page look if the click magic click ideas present in URL then hover over the hover over the button so we’ve done that now the next step is to test the Clickbank order page passing click through your link and see if it registered properly to your affiliate account and registers the unique click ID step nine we’re gonna do this in a second alright so let’s see if it registered the unique click ID so to do that we’re gonna have to go through the sales page yeah this is pretty cool you got to get to a checkout page the order form alright so now when you’re on the order form you’re gonna scroll down to the very bottom in this tiny text and make sure that it has your affiliate your Clickbank ID in this case it does and then it will have a dot and whatever you put in the tid the tracking ID thing is going to show up here in our case what we’re doing is we’re putting a unique click ID from clickmagick so that’s three four zero well if you go back here this was the that was the unique code that was generated for this particular click three four zero and that was also if you look at the code for the for the link at the end it was added three four zero now if three four zero if that person ends up converting then click bank is going to send a message to click magic and say hey click nine five four zero zero zero three four zero converted into a sale it made sixty three dollars and now click magic is gonna be like hey I know that nine four five you know five four zero zero three four zero came from this Bing ad Bing had number thirty five that had this headline it was also made from a you from a mobile device and it was using this keyword so this is how its you’re gonna optimize all your campaigns very important all right so that part’s working let’s just run through real quick one time one more to test and so you really see how this all works mmm the let the only part you’re not seeing is the Bing side so I’m gonna cover that in a second but just assume somebody just clicked on your Bing link now all this stuff is happening and it’s all very important so they’re gonna get routed through this tracking link so let’s check that again we’re gonna just open a new window incognito window this is like someone clicking on it now look a new unique ID has been generated nine five four zero zero one two one six this is the new one and then you know the person is going to click on one of these links it’s going to go through and then you need to go to a an order form so you can double check this stuff and then click somewhere to the order form then scroll all the way down to the bottom and now our unique ID was two ended with two one six and so didn’t says two one six down here so now you we know that everything from clickmagick through to Clickbank is working properly that’s great so now the next step is to you know set up your Bing ads ad mmm properly you’re gonna add your tracking link plus tokens to your Bing ad tracking template I’m going to show you that how to do it exactly from scratch in a second but let me real quick explain what Bing ads tokens are let me see if I can find a list I believe I’ve mentioned this elsewhere in the training but basically these are different these are things that are passed on from the Bing side to whatever tracking service you’re using in this case we’re using clickmagick and this stuff is really important so you can know what’s going on if you own your own product in your own web pages and stuff you don’t need this because it’s all gonna be tracked automatically through Bing but if you’re doing affiliate marketing you need it so these are the things that Bing currently allows us to track their platform to a third-party tracking service you can track the ad group ID that triggered the add you can add track the ad ID so each ad has its own unique ID inside of Bing so you can see which specific ad created that conversion the bid match type whether it was exact match phrase match broad match or on a content or content and their content network the campaign ID the device if it was on a mobile a tablet a desktop or laptop some other stuff match type exact phrase broad MS quick ID is the unique ID of the click or impression the keyword ID the product ID the query string and the target ID so my recommendation is that you use these five these are the ones that are generally the most useful for me you’re free to experiment with other ones if you want or follow someone else’s advice if you find it but these are the ones that I like and I’ll show you how to set them up in a second so this one is the query string it’s going to show you it’s gonna show you exactly what they searched to get to the click so I think that’s awesome I think it’s great data it can help you optimize your campaigns later the match type is going to show you whether they searched as an exact match a phrase match or a broad match that can be important as well the device is really important that is mobile tablet or desktop all three of those can perform completely differently you can change your bidding on each of them separately so it’s really important to know which one’s generating conversions which ones are not Network this is the Bing ads and AOL ads and MSN ads and Yahoo ads versus their entire syndicated network of ads if you don’t know what that means check out other training in the course the ad ID again this is the exact specific ad that the conversions so if your split testing different ads this is how you’re gonna know which one’s working better so I like you can do it either way I like both ways but for now I recommend you put these slashes in between you can also put dashes they do they do two different things but I recommend what the slashes so where does that go well I’m gonna show you right now so now we’re gonna kind of run through the basic you know Bing ads like campaign setup if you already if you already have a method for that or you’ve already been through other other parts of the course and you’ve got that part down then all you really need to know is that you’re gonna put this in the ad tracking template URL spot so I’ll show you that in a second so let’s say we’re starting a brand new campaign we’re gonna go to visit to my website we’re gonna go to you know weight loss thing us this is like my standard campaign setup strategy if you’ve been following along in the course usually twenty dollars a day I like to use just one country at a time to begin with so I’m only gonna target us unchecked people searching for or viewing pages because that just gets crazy your website URL so that’s gonna be your landing page and unlike direct linking this is actually pretty straightforward direct linking gets weird so we’re gonna go like weight loss for beginners let’s just say and then you know I’m gonna I’m gonna create one that’s on the Bing Network and then I’m gonna go in and complete this set up and then I’m just gonna duplicate it into the syndicated Network which I’ve shown elsewhere in the course I’m not gonna go over that you know the one five fifteen kind of general rule of creating keywords so we’re targeting the idea the general concept of weight loss for beginners then that’s going to be my route broad match keyword and then we’re gonna you know pick some it’s gonna get this is going to give you some good suggestions you can add over here but you know for beginners as a phrase match you know weight loss strategies and I’m just you know I’m gonna add oh boy okay well let’s let’s just use this as an example then let’s go add five of these one two three four five now this is it this isn’t exactly how I would do it but you know this is the structure I would use so never mind the the actual keywords but know that no matter what I’m doing I would just I would set it up like this no matter what I’m promoting whether it’s an affiliate product or an e-commerce product or a local service anything I’m gonna do generally this same thing I’m gonna add a few I’m gonna add one sometimes a couple broad match keywords to the ad group I’m gonna add a few phrase match you know and then as many as I can think of or feel comfortable if I want to bother with as exact match right off the bat and then we’re gonna get some real data and adjust from there so this is good enough to get started so we’re gonna save and go to the next step the add again the final URL is going to be your landing page so you’re gonna put that in and this is this is this URL right here so don’t worry about all the tracking stuff yet this is where a lot of people stop paying attention and they get confused so we should add that being set up create campaign mmm 20 dollar budget us only uncheck searching for in your location 1 5 15 keywords cool and then put landing page URL without tracking links as the final URL in your Bing ad now this is really important the sequencing a lot of people again they don’t pay attention and then they get mad at me when their ads don’t work so don’t be that person put put they this URL as the final URL we’re gonna we’re gonna address all the tracking stuff I’ve taught you we’re gonna dress it in a second now this you know my strategy is to basically just match the keywords that you use in this case it was like best weight loss products was most of those keywords so we’re just gonna put that in you know whatever this is all your your kind of time to shine as a marketer in this type of marketing is coming up with angles that are going to get people to click and get people to buy so so I’m just gonna put in some generic copy here I’m not saying this is like where you should start but you know this is up to you if you want to know more about writing good ads go check out my ad writing content in the course

let’s say hands down just gonna be a little funny they might not like that one of the best best weight loss products you know I like keyword density learn about one best those products made to date free shipping or whatever blah blah and then another add text to this one this is it’s just more giving more information about your product the more you know about it the more the better this stuff can be obviously you want to use your your keywords in here too [Music] [Music] alright now this part is where all that stuff I’ve been talking about is suddenly gonna make sense okay the tracking template this is where all that stuff comes into play now for this you know right ad put tracking put click magic tracking URL plus tokens in the tracking template box okay so I mentioned this earlier but here it is again you know add your tracking link plus tokens to your Bing ad tracking template so first step we’re gonna take the click magic link we’re gonna copy that go back to tracking template paste it in this is kind of where you just kind of have to trust me here because it’s probably not gonna make any sense but it’s all gonna work out and then I’m gonna copy I’m gonna copy either of these will work they will both give you good data one this one you’re gonna have to export into a spreadsheet but it’s going to give you more data from clickmagick you’re gonna have to go into the stats and like export a spreadsheet but that’s okay you’re gonna click download CSV but it’s going to give you more data it’ll only show one here in the sub ID 1 and then the rest of them are gonna be in the in the CSV if you want them all to show up as best they can in this sub ID 1 then just use this one then they’ll all show up inside of clickmagick itself and you won’t have to download a spreadsheet but if you want more clean data than use this one if that doesn’t make any sense don’t worry about it get through this get on to running campaigns and then you can come back and reevaluate this and you can ask me how to get this going so just copy this and go back to Bing ads make sure there’s no spaces paste it okay we’ve got a tidy network device match type query string and make sure there’s no spaces right here so it’s your landing page URL slash all this stuff so it’s gonna it’s gonna look just like that and you’re gonna click Save mmm now you can create more more ads and stuff like that I personally don’t really think people should bother with site linking extensions and all that in the beginning some other experts talked about them a lot so if you want to know more about them go hit them up price extensions all this stuff I don’t really bother with and okay so next we’re gonna save and go to the next step [Music] copy add to yeah okay I think I accidentally told it I was gonna create two different ad groups so whatever okay this is where we now okay so we’re gonna go back here submit ad and then we’re gonna go to change the bid strategy to manual change bid strategy to manual because I’ve explained this elsewhere in the course but enhanced CPC is built for people who actually control their whole sales process and can put code wherever they want since you’re an affiliate you can’t do that and enhance piece CPC is going to be useless so don’t don’t use it I always start things at 30 cents overall and then make adjustments from there once data starts coming in you can try it at whatever you want whatever it’s telling you it’s gonna make estimations don’t worry about this stuff so much just just test it just get out there and try and see what happens don’t don’t trust these you know tools and stuff that are gonna scare you off and think oh I’m only going to click a month when like just try it out because that’s not actually how it works it’s I don’t know why their tools are so bad but they really are and they scare a lot of people off so this stuff you know what’s gonna depend on you but I would not really bother with it in the beginning again you want to just run and get data and then if you see that desktop is performing terribly and costing you money and if you could just avoid it eliminate it and keep and run only on the smartphone and that’s working really well then you can go in and adjust these but in the beginning you don’t know how that’s gonna be you’re gonna need your data from clickmagick to show you that so I would just leave that blank I always do and then add distribution is the last piece here and again if you kind of know my my process I always do to add groups one is using this Bing AOL and Yahoo search owned-and-operated and that’s one of the Bing ads tokens that we put into our tracking URL the network token that’s gonna tell us it’s either gonna say oh for owned-and-operated which means that the click came from either Bing comm AOL comm or yahoo.com or MSN comm so that’s like an official Bing owned property but some clicks can come from what’s called their syndicated Network and the reason that I create two different ad groups for every campaign and again this is kind of review from the rest of the course but since I’m making this updated video I’ll just recover it again the reason I make those two different ad groups is because sometimes clicks from Bing AOL MSN and Yahoo can can be way differently priced and perform way differently convert way differently then their clicks from random stuff on their syndicated network sometimes the syndicated network is way better sometimes it’s worse so I always separate them so my first move is always to create the Bing AOL and search owned an operated version and that’s why we called this ad group – Bing and then we’re gonna click Save and now it’s ready for review so now you can see this weight loss u.s. AG group is actually fully set up you you don’t have to touch it’s got two different AG sorry that’s a campaign we lost – us it’s got two different ad groups now the way that I I’m gonna copy this is to use the Bing ads editor so go check out other training in the course to see that process but for now we have a up and running campaign that’s fully set up for tracking and it’s ready to rock it should be getting submitted for approval if it gets approved then it should start getting you know impressions and traffic if it doesn’t then go back and check my like what’s it called a troubleshooting checklist and see if it doesn’t get impressions what you can do stuff like that if you look at the ad here we’ll just kind of double check everything again if you right-click and go you know open a new tab this is gonna be a little deceiving because if you this is hard to explain but stay with me here I’m clicking on this not as an actual user of Bing I’m clicking on it from inside my own administrative dashboard so it’s not actually fully gonna pass everything through like a real customer on the other side a real customer isn’t going to go directly to this page because if you see our tracking links are not going to work properly but actually let me double check that that is true yes okay that is true so this is not going to give you accurate data but if you go you can see that our tracking link is put there properly so what happens is when an actual user of Bing goes to being calm and clicks on our link they’re gonna get first routed through our tracking URL which is going to go through clickmagick and then it’s and then if they make a sale and Clickbank it’s going to get passed back so it’s gonna work fine you just need to see that your final URL works fine it’s going to where it should and it’s actually really hard to test to make like triple sure that everything’s working from being all the way through to Clickbank just because Bing doesn’t really let you test as an actual end user unless you look up your own ads and click on it you can click this test button but it doesn’t always work you know in fact I think it just didn’t isn’t working and sometimes it gives you a message but that’s not the the end-all be-all what the end-all be-all is is watching your actual link in clickmagick and seeing clicks come through and if you if you start seeing those clicks come through and they have all the tracking you know things associated with them properly then then you set it up properly so let me show you no I guess I don’t have those in this account right now so so that’s it that’s how to set up a Clickbank landing page campaign from beginning to getting it up and running on bing so check out this checklist down below the video if you need to go through it again and hit me up in our private Facebook group if you have any questions and I’ll talk to you some other time
