How To Start On Low/No Budget
what’s up everyone welcome back to the Bing ads bootcamp 2.0 and in this bonus we’re gonna talk about how to start on a low budget or a low budget so if you’re starting on no budget I think it’s time for some honesty here and I want to ask you why are you doing paid traffic if you have no budget you honestly shouldn’t pay traffic is about testing until you find a winner and then scaling both phases are going to require money it’s called paid traffic I know that people think pay traffic is going to be fast and perhaps easy but the fast is true but the easy is not so if you really have no budget I honestly don’t think you should start with paid traffic I don’t think you’re gonna hit the magical winner and I’ll explain in a second why that even wouldn’t even work all that well anyways even if your campaign is successful let’s be say you spend you know $20 on day one and you make two sales of a $40 product and you make 80 right so you made $60 profit and let’s say you’re promoting a Clickbank offer and you have you know you have no budgets so I mean what are you running a credit card debt so maybe you have a thousand dollars worth of credit card debt you can go through both but the likelihood of all of that working out perfectly is very low and if you’re using if you’re doing affiliate marketing usually you’re gonna have to wait for a affiliate Commission sales you might have to wait for refunds to come through if you’re doing Clickbank all that kind of stuff so you need cash flow to keep your camp campaigns going while this happens while you’re waiting for your Commission’s to come in you’re not gonna be making that money instantly on day one it’s usually gonna take a while sometimes it takes up to a month for affiliate programs to pay you out so what are you gonna do in the meantime so I’d say bear bear minimum you need at least a hundred dollars a month to completely spend knowing that you’re testing and you’re just trying to find winning combinations of products of ads of keywords etc you need at least a hundred dollars and that’s on the low end that’s on the really low end but and you need to know that hundred dollars is not necessarily going to produce profit right away it’s going to be spent on testing so what’s a better alternative if you really have no budget at all it’s definitely not trying to get a bunch of coupons I’ve seen people do that and it’s embarrassing to me you’re trying to you know if you’ve done this it’s okay but just know that it’s not a good strategy nobody that has done that has become successful that I’ve seen so far anyone who’s trying to cash out these like you know the three hundred dollars of Bing and just trying to go through them again and again and again eventually Bing is gonna catch you and they are not gonna let you start any more accounts or I don’t know it’s just not a good strategy so what’s a better alternative I think starting with free traffic first start getting some sales build up your revenue streams and cash flow then you will have the consistent cash flow available from passive free streams of income to then invest in your pay traffic campaigns to speed things up that’s the cool thing about paid traffic is that it’s fast but it does take a budget for testing so I recommend starting with free traffic affiliate marketing and start building up streams of income then take that money and invest it in pay traffic to speed up the process plus you will have figured out all the angles the ads etc that work the offers that are converting it so I recommend starting out by promoting a recurring income product that’s the easiest to get consistent cash flow with free traffic and builder all is my preference for if you’re just completely starting out you it out at WWN o mad affiliate Academy com if you want more information on how to do that so with that out of the way let’s talk about if you’re starting out in a low budget now on a low budget I actually think you can make this work it’s definitely achievable it’s going to be a different strategy and I I really respect that you’re trying to learn this skill with the budget whatever budget you have so I think it’s really cool to do paid traffic on a low budget you just have to be more patient and be more strategic so definitely you’re going to be focusing on laser targeting as your number one priority you’re think of it more like a sniper rifle approach where you’re going after very specific keywords very specific people instead of the shotgun approach where you’re kind of letting lots of ads run and then picking out the successful keywords and I’m gonna introduce you to a model for thinking and understanding your keywords and your strategy that was shown to me by one of the most successful paid traffic experts that I know who has made millions of dollars many times over and he calls it the concentric circles model so this is how to start with profit and avoid wasting money from the beginning and it’s called the concentric circles of customer interest so on the outside circle is awareness that means people that might be aware that there are products but they’re really maybe just thinking about the niche in general so let’s say if you’re advertising for a you know a product on Clickbank for losing weight for women right so awareness the awareness circle is the farthest away from buying you so the people in the awareness circle are just searching for things like how to lose you know weight or diet tips or whatever they’re not necessarily looking for product they’re not necessarily desperate for a solution etc they might just be looking for you know searching for the word keto or something whereas the next circle that’s closer to a buying decision is interest so these people might be looking for you know weight loss recipes etc and now the next circle is desire so they might search for best weight loss product right so now they’re actually desiring a solution to their their problem of losing weight so when you’re starting from a low budget what you want to do is start from either the desire or the next stage which is action these people are ready to buy they’re ready to take action they’re really pull out their credit card and make a decision to help them so you want to be targeting people in desire or action how do you do that well with Bing ads the way that you target people and their buying intent is with keyword the keywords that you choose and the keywords that you research so on the outer circle that’s where you have broad match keywords if you’ve gone through the training you know what that means and you’re largely going to be avoiding these keywords with the low budget strategy because broad match keywords is more of like the shotgun approach where you’re testing lots of different things and letting Bing go out and find new keywords and then eventually sifting out the ones that work that’s not going to be your strategy if you have a low budget instead you’re going to be using the yellow the orange and perhaps the red of retargeting but I would say the exact match and phrase match are you basically just want to start you know from the inside and work your way out so you want to start with the exact match phrase match ideally if you do have an audience that is landed on a webpage or something then retargeting would be the place to start but you can start with exact match and phrase match so this is going to give you the most control over your budget and you’ll know exactly what the person is searching for so you can be sure that every click is highly qualified now if you’re doing affiliate marketing especially in the Clickbank Secrets module I talked about two different approaches to promoting Clickbank products and if you have a low budget then I would recommend that you start out with the product method which is where you’re specifically targeting only people who are searching for specific products already and already looking to buy the product and you want to target buyer intent keywords things like they might include the word discount or buy or coupon so instead of weight loss tips which might be in the interest circle or the awareness circle you want to be searching for where to buy Fat Loss Factor or whatever whatever the Fat Loss decimator fad decimator you know you wanna you want to actually bid on the keywords for fat decimator or fat decimator discount or coupon or whatever and then you’re going to simply replicate this strategy over to many products on Clickbank or on you know the cpa network you’re doing you only want to target people who are already looking for this product they’re already ready to buy there they already know about the product you don’t have to convince them of anything they’re they’re just ready to buy the product right now and you can be that last little bridge between them and buying and you can make a commission this strategy in general whether you’re doing it for affiliate products or not is going to be low volume which means you’re not going to get a lot of clicks so you’re not going to get a lot of impressions but you’re gonna have a high conversion rate also you’re gonna have a really high click-through rate for the impressions that you do get because they’re gonna be so laser focused on exactly what that person search for and exactly what they are looking for also you’ll want to take advantage of the reverse engineering keywords technique mentioned before in earlier training and only start with buyer intent keywords anything that is related to the product related to making a buying decision now again you will get few clicks per day but they will be high quality and you want to stay away from broad match keywords because like I said they’re going to you know spend on looser and looser terms that are further and further out in the concentric circle model so you want to start in the closest to buying not broad match so you want to start with exact match and then phrase match and that’s it and only add more exact matching phrase match of buyer intent keywords and you can slowly build out your keywords but inside the smallest part of the circle just keep building out and monitoring for any converting keywords and in this method keyword research is king so you’re gonna do a lot more keyword research before you create your campaigns than just throwing together a bunch of broad matches and then waiting for the results to happen so that is my small tutorial on how to start with a low budget focus on keyword research focus on buyer intent keywords focus on the inner part of the circle and focus on exact match and phrase match keywords and in reverse engineer the keywords that
