all right welcome back to affiliate stuff secrets marketing secret so let’s talk about if you’re just starting out of affiliate marketing whether you’re doing free traffic or hate traffic the best way to turn visitors into dollars is to build an email list 100% 100% this is how we’ve all made a lot of money we’ve helped other people make lots of money it’s yeah it’s the best place to start there’s lots of reasons I’m gonna let you guys talk about this because at this point here’s some of the best in the world at writing emails well you know one really cool reason is because as opposed to putting up a video and having a link under it for one specific product great you’re doing that you’re promoting that product when you have a list you have a lifetime of people that you can promote it just as many things as you want for for as long as you want without I’m gonna pay again yeah without having to ever do anything again pay for anything you just boom I’m gonna write an email today to promote you know whatever and boom you could literally make while depending on how big your list is and the entire living mmm so well that’s a good point actually you know depending on how big your list is I’d say on average you can expect to make let’s say like $1 per month per person that’s on your list and if you get better at writing emails or you know you send two emails a day said one maybe you make two or three dollars a month per person so do the math on that if you mail them every day for a month and you’re making a dollar per person how much are you gonna be making with a thousand people on the list but 5,000 people the big affiliates that you may have heard of or that some are sitting in this room our mailings are like 10 20 50 a hundred thousand people with one click of a button you just accessed a hundred thousand people that know you and trust you and are likely to click and buy what you tell them to buy so the value in that is we do this every day that’s how we can sit on the couch and live here in New Orleans and travel around and have this cool life if you have a laptop or a phone or an internet connection just with a few pushes of a button you have an audience of people that likes buying from you and they’re yours you know you don’t have to keep going out and hunting for more leads you gather them and keep them and keep following up and building that relationship and you know you’re gonna tell them about buying ads and paid traffic but that game means you buy a person for five dollars and hope to make ten but email this building as you buy them for $5 and then over their lifetime on your list you might make a hundred off that person so it’s just a way of getting the most bang for your buck and you can try tons of different offers to email lists and sell whatever you want and you know another really cool thing about having that email list besides just you know mailing every single day to whatever offers that you want his affiliates have made it’s so easy now to to promote their products that you literally don’t even have to write it that’s true yeah you know we’ve got a hundred emails written for any given product we have yeah you pick it in boom load it up done takes you five minutes just make ten grand well yeah how many people are on your list but plenty of people like if you want to promote all of our products and you had a list we’ll give you the emails then we don’t know really where we know that they will make you money because they’ve made us and everyone else money you can just have them plug them into an email autoresponder service click a button and you we will give you money hmm just depends on how many people you can send great ones to use by the way Aweber get response yeah probably the overall best yeah those are the top ones that people use there’s a million but those the biggest most popular and they’re relatively cheap and especially if you’re starting yeah it’s gonna be ten bucks a month well it to get a lot of them give me the first one for free yeah you probably pay for itself by the time a month goes by get responses usually what I recommend for newbies that’s my jam I mean Elena wear a face structure guys and stuff but yeah yeah we’ve all written a lot of emails and made a lot of money from emails it still works in 2018 oh yeah everyday don’t listen to anyone who’s look email marketing stead they’re just trying to sell you something else which might be hey why not me they probably Karenina that’s email works it always has honestly people said that about Direct Mail like sending a mail in the letter a letter in the mail that’s no worse – yeah you know it seems old-fashioned but like whatever works resume is shop gets me every three months yeah people have been doing this stuff since a hundred years ago yeah is what since the postal service was invented before that they were knocking each other’s doors door-to-door selling like it’s it’s always worked email is just one way to do it but basically now snake-oil you’ve ever had so what what are some of the important things that you’ve learned about you know keeping like we’re talking about sending out emails to a list a lot of people will give you emails pre-made that you can send out as far as writing emails yourself like how often should you send an email should you feel like you’re bothering people or should you only offer like sales or well that’s why we talked earlier about how all you’re really doing is helping people solve their problems and you know whatever passion you have or interest or even if you don’t care the reason that they’re gonna give you money is because you help them with something are you saving them time or you know if you bought this product you’re buying it because we’re teaching you all of our experience on doing affiliate marketing which is gonna save you years of time and a lot of money that you might have wasted so you’re helping people and giving them value so right if what you’re saying is relevant to why they’re on that list it helps them you shouldn’t feel like you’re getting on them with stuff you’re not seeing sales eat you’re helping them what I was telling it on the internet when we’re at the coffee shop earlier it’s like if you have a bad headache and you go into Walgreens you’re like my head hurts I need a solution and they were like well we can help you but we don’t want to be really salesy so here’s like some free content that you could use to like maybe fix you you know be more healthy you’d be like no [ __ ] that give me some time you know so like we look at it that way your if you dialed in on your market and you have a good offer which we’re gonna he’s gonna help me find and you you know what they need and you’re connecting the dots with I have a headache here’s the solution but you shouldn’t feel like you’re being annoying by hitting them up but you’re like you’re being too salesy for asking for money if you if you if you’re being too salesy it’s because you just aren’t offering them something they really want and he’s gonna help you figure out exactly what that is but it’s just as as helpful as giving a person with a migraine some medicine you know you’re helping them solve the problem no one who’s going to be mad about that we mail our list multiple times a day and they don’t get mad they just give us more money because we’re solving the problems and I like that there’s always gonna be a certain amount of people that are just gonna unsubscribe yes yeah yeah yeah you’re gonna get people that are responded with just stupid messages do not take it personally at y’all I’m gonna get riedel’s yeah anymore either but when we all started yeah right I’m trying to help why are they so mean like don’t get nobody you want to respond on no that’s not what I meant yeah please don’t unsubscribe yeah no dude don’t even worry about it there’s always going to be a certain percentage that are like that and on the flip side dude there is a way like I know we said we’d give you swipes you can find swipes it’s also really nice to add your own voice to your emails to your list is if you want to take it like to the next level you can actually build a really solid relationship for your list where they trust you even more which always means it’s gonna convert a lot better because they really believe in you trust in you and honestly like yeah getting across your own way of saying things your own little quirk like Corky I know for a month I did email series every day it was a new like hey broseph ya bro-chachos program leakin that was I kind of started it every day for a month and honestly I had people I’m in this writing and giving me new ones tonight the next day they loved it and it you know became really unique and it helps you bond with your list and honestly the the better your relationship with your list is the more they are willing to open their wallets when you recommend something that’s helping solve their needs yeah so it’s just another way to build a relationship build trust same thing you’re doing on YouTube I did see an interesting stat the other day from one of the top internet payment providers where they said their customers the things that they bought they were like 15 times more likely to buy through email then through Facebook or Instagram or Twitter or YouTube like email is a very trusted intimate personal communication you can definitely make affiliate sales through YouTube and through Facebook and social media but people want to buy especially more expensive stuff they are 15 times more likely to buy through email right now so you’re silly if you’re not building an email list and mailing them and giving them awesome stuff that they should be buying
