all right let’s talk real quick about budget this is gonna be a real quick video but basically I would say if you have no other guidelines then just start with ten to twenty eighty dollars a day at the campaign level that’ll keep a nice little cap you never know with different niches different products sometimes you’re gonna hit that within an hour or less sometimes that might take a few days or a week it depends on your bids there’s so many different factors here but a lot of just people just ask me you know what budget do I start with well there’s so many factors it’s a really hard question to answer because you know again like we talked about earlier if you’re if you’re LTV of a customer is a thousand dollars then your budget should be at least a thousand dollars a day but just in general I think I know what most people are trying to go after what kind of products they’re trying to sell etc at least with Bing and so just generally as a general rule just put ten to twenty dollars let it start spending and see what happens and go from there but that’s a pretty good benchmark that’s enough to start getting some traffic and the other thing is don’t set account or campaign spending limits let me talk hold on just one second let me talk about this for a second you can with all these things in this QuickStart you can make adjustments like you’re like well what if I can’t afford ten to twenty dollars then start with a dollar you know if you’re trying to sell a sixty dollar thing though it’s gonna take a long time to get enough clicks probably unless there’s no competition but probably so that’s kind of silly if you’re trying to sell a one dollar thing like an email submit offer on max bounty or whatever then fine you can have a dollar a day you know you might make two conversions that’s awesome because it you know again we’re talking about that roughly 50% of the sale price of the item so the sale price of an email is free so I guess roughly 50% of that is basically you know if you can get if less than the payout of a dollar so anyways campaign is a really tricky thing but if you can do ten to twenty dollars a day then don’t do twenty ten to twenty dollars a day just bump it down to five see what happens just get in there start trying just see what happens see what kind of clicks you get see what kind of click-through rates you get if you start to get one part down you can work on the other pieces and we’ll show you exactly how to do all of those pieces throughout the program okay so I know in a minute here don’t set a count or campaign spending limit so that’s where you say you know setting a whole campaign limit of like a hundred dollars or whatever I worked with somebody a little while ago and they kept wanting to do that just to make sure they never spent more than a hundred dollars total but I just don’t think that’s a wait a good way to run your campaign I think you need to keep it open at the top and then control your spending through your daily budgets so do set daily campaign budgets don’t set a campaign spending limit so I used to do that on Facebook and on Google and it’s just it’s just not it’s basically saying I don’t want to have the responsibility of watching my ads so I just need to make sure that they won’t spend more than $100 but if you set a $20 a day budget it won’t spend more than a $20 a day that’s not true of all ad platforms some ad platforms will spend more than that but Bing doesn’t do it so if you said a $20 limit you know maybe occasionally it’ll go a dollar over or whatever but it’s not gonna spend more than $20 a day so just watch it every day especially when you’re new and learning then you need to be watching it to see how what’s happening anyways so don’t set the whole spending limit on the account don’t say like you know stop spending when my account spends $100 or whatever just don’t do that it’s it stops the campaign from growing it starts to meter the performance of the campaign from the beginning and it’s just not very authentic you wanna it’s it’s hard once you’ve run a lot of ads you start to have this feeling and I’m just telling you don’t cap your whole account just set daily budgets that’s the way to do it so that’s the next guideline
