well let’s talk real quick about some of the objections to YouTube one I don’t want to be on camera that’s the biggest one yeah so what do you guys say about that suck it up yeah that’s what I was going to say too like if you’re trying to be in marketing video marketing is where it’s at it’s not gonna change like YouTube and I think we connect video looking at other people yeah a large part of getting people to buy what you’re telling you to buy it’s trust and they need to see your face and hear your voice in order to trust you now that doesn’t mean you have to plenty of video sales letters that we’ve recommended or even made and written are just text on a PowerPoint with a voice but that is a really difficult skill to get people to buy from a video that’s like it was like the top via cells which you might be promoting if you sell information products as an affiliate the top video sales letters that you see were written by like very expensive copywriters they took six months and a lot of money and research and they even then it’s a risk but there are plenty of people that have no idea how to market or sell they’re just cool on video and people like them and they’re just being himself on video and smiling and saying what they really feel and they make millions of dollars from it there’s a kid I think he’s like six and he reviews toys while I was making millions are you kidding me he just talks about Chloe said he likes and millions of people are watching him and he’s making millions of dollars because he just puts in Amazon well six if you haven’t do these things the point is though being on camera and just talking like we are now builds trust and rapport with your audience what if you’re doing YouTube or anything like that and that means the more you do that the less you have to be good at selling yeah you know another objection that people have – yeah they don’t want to show their face but also that I don’t want to be salesy I don’t want to be annoying people trying to get their money if you ever feel like you’re not good at sales or you don’t want to be like sales Ian in your face like you know aggressively salesy be on video just be nice yeah people will trust you and you don’t have to sell them they’ll just like you in the buy from you yeah and if you’re uncomfortable with it honestly just start doing it yeah and you will eventually inevitably become more and more code you might not ever be completely comfortable with it but by the video by the day and it’s gonna get easier even right after you film your first one they’re all nervous about yeah a little amazing tank is gonna get ya up above you just get in the zone well that’s why we were telling you to if you see really awesome people on YouTube go back to their first video because they started where you probably are if you’ve never done a video feeling awkward not being that charismatic it’s just not that in the zone and maybe today you see them just do commanding attention and having so much charisma but look where they started you get better and better in it I don’t know when I started it took me like a day to do my first video because I did like 10 takes I mean that sucks no socks we can’t put that on in the world well that’s embarrassing I’ll humiliated but the next day I was like well it’s just dumb I’ll just do another one and put it out there the next day I did a few more and like you get better at it and really fast it’s like muscle just exercise it let’s talk about equipment – that’s a big objection that people have they think they need cambrai yeah you’re you just experienced something awesome in this yeah we bought all kinds of equipment and honestly it’s slowed us down honestly an iPhone and a good mic and good lighting that’s yeah yeah this little we’re using right now it’s so much faster as far as being able to execute and then you’re already connected to YouTube letting phone upload or ahead of slightly and you’ve done like other than that like a lot of people think you have to have a studio we get to filming you have to do all these cuts then you got to edit and no not at all honestly getting it done is far more important yeah you could build a do it yourself at home lighting kit from Amazon people I think will afford I literally I would say just a lighting kit maybe 65 bucks yeah it will look professional a hundred percent yeah um so yeah I mean or just go out on and it’s not that good days like yeah you got a really good at that like you’ve bought a bunch of fancy stuff but then you also bought a super simple stuff and the simple stuff whose use it’s a lot more like I know it definitely the lighting kit was good because it without good lighting your counting on natural light yeah sometimes it’s raining or the day is shitty and sort of lighting kids you’re looking 60 W a season I do you know what I thought that’s perfect it’s just it’s a lighting kit it’s like a light bulb with an umbrella in front of it yeah you probably buy those things you know we bought make bulbs those silver reflector dis holders and a clear back sheet whatever those are called a shower curtain yeah cut circles out of it got some clothes pins clipped it around the light do yourself a mighty soft boxes for okay twenty-five bucks like yeah Newark’s and you don’t even order any yes yeah right literally just hold your phone in front of your face yeah I record it or no people will connect with it that’s how people connect out of each other you say are with your headphones in so yeah that’s a built-in microphone my first videos I’ll actually give like a counterpoint and then I think we can move on to another topic but my first YouTube videos that have now gotten tens of thousands of views so far were just me sitting on my computer not my face I was sick at the time but I was like really determined to figure out this YouTube thing so I was really sick my voice was so terrible that I had to stop every like ten seconds took off and just like resumed the audio but I kept recording and I just recorded my screen with some software called Camtasia link below some screen share of software and then and it was just a PowerPoint and I think it was maybe like ten slides or something it was just basic like it wasn’t even a cool powerful I don’t even know how to make good powerpoints it’s just but the information was good and and you know just me talking and giving good information people connected with so you don’t necessarily have to be on camera but if you do people will connect with you even faster that’ll trust you you can talk about anything you want so as you can the last thing I know it was mentioned earlier but this seems to be one of those other fears with creating your own videos especially if it’s your own content or if it’s something that you’re trying to teach like don’t let the fact that there are people out there with much bigger audiences that you consider to be these great things like don’t let that hinder you from doing it because oh these I I don’t have this I do that leafless yeah you are better than a certain amount of people if you’re teaching something they’re gonna be people under you no matter what yeah so just understand that and talk to them you’re not being able that want to hear you cuz they’re they’re there yeah yeah and with the people that you might be intimidated by that have millions of views and you think they’re all great they’ve just been doing it longer right when they started so do what they did which is just start making videos on that and you will actually shockingly beyond that level faster than you think and the point of that is to get tons of people to watch your video so you can put a link below your video and have them go buy stuff through your link and what happens then cash money goes in the end don’t wanna make a cow oh yeah then you can sit on the couch all day and make more videos
