Why Most Courses Have Failed You
all right so let’s talk about mindset shift number two why most courses have failed you if you’re honest and you really think about this question it’s probably not the course is it it’s most likely if you’re like me and many other entrepreneurs it’s probably from a lack of focus let me ask you this do you find yourself buying courses almost habitually watching training after training after training well in the last year I did this and I’ve been doing it for years but I learned something really important about courses and that was that basically all of them worked I know a lot of people in my opinion literally waste their life by trying to figure out whether or not a course is a scam or whatever I honestly think it’s almost impossible to create a scam of a course like if somebody has any expertise at all and you even learn one lesson and if you study successful people a lot and talk to them a lot and read books about about and buy them you will hear this lesson again and again that someone who’s very successful will gladly pay five thousand dollars to learn one thing that they didn’t know even if the rest of the book or the course or the training or whatever isn’t you know all applicable to what they’re doing if they learn one thing that changes their life or their business for positive then it was worth any amount of money so you should adopt that thinking as well instead of wasting your time in life thinking about whether or not a course is you know to blame for a lack of success we all know that it’s not the course it’s not the teacher it’s the it’s our own effort it’s our own focus so what I learned in the last year I pay about I think I paid about $5,000 to buy courses in the last year and have I done every single thing that every single course recommended no but what I did was I did do at least some of what every single course recommended and every single one that I ever took when I actually applied what was in the course got me better results than I’ve ever had before because that’s the nature of learning I mean that’s just how it works so what I realized after buying five or six different courses various amounts of money and different areas of business and internet marketing is that they all worked they all did to some degree what they said they would do as long as I put in the effort so then after I started getting like little results here and there and here and there and here and there in all these different little niches and fields and whatever I realized that it’s not really about the course it’s about me and it was about my ability to pick one and focus on it and so I picked a couple really it’s still hard for me to pick just one but I picked a couple and I really focused on those and that is why you’re even here watching this right now is because you know I took a course on two courses on YouTube and you know again did did I do every single thing that was in those courses no but I did but whenever I applied more of what I had learned I got better and better results so that was the lesson that I learned from buying and taking a bunch of different training courses is that at the end of the day it always comes back to me it always comes back to how much I’m willing to put in so if you are a person who buys courses habitually and you’re never really getting the kind of success that you were hoping for or that you were you know you know that you’re capable of then this is probably the reason and that’s the same thing that I had I’ve been buying courses learning methods learning different theories and trainings all over for years and years and I finally learned how to focus and seriously your results will just explode when you actually just pick a method and apply it and keep learning keep plowing back in keep getting results keep improving keep keep training so that’s what I learned about buying courses they all work and it’s just up to you to actually apply the advice and if you look back on the courses that you think maybe didn’t work and you’re you have to be 100% completely honest did you actually do exactly what they said or was there a point at which they made one recommendation that you went yeah that sounds like a lot of work or I don’t really know if that’s something that I would do or you had some opinion about it even though this person has way more experience than me like when I used to buy different courses and books and stuff even though this person is way better at this particular thing that I’m trying to learn about than I am I still had some sort of opinion about it that was getting in my way like oh I would never I’m not the kind of person who would do that well the successful person is telling me that’s how you need to be successful and so my ego was getting in the way and stopping me from doing what actually worked because I had an opinion instead of trust in the opinion of someone who is you know has more experience with this thing than me so that’s another thing that I learned I don’t trust my own opinions anymore I trust the advice of people who are more experienced with the thing than I am in in all fields you know in all parts of life so another reason that most courses may have failed you in the past is a lack of proper resources for example time so the way to get more time is pretty simple you just cut out the extra stuff for a while while you’re trying to focus on a particular method or a particular goal in life it’s it’s easier to cut out some of the things that you might think are essential to your life now but if you really are honest with yourself are not as important as finally achieving your business goals so extra stuff might be like playing games on your phone I know that’s pretty big I mean almost everybody does it these days in all you know little bits of free time yeah one thing is free time like sure you might need some time to decompress from your job in your life etc and that’s good for mental health to take that time but if you’re really serious about making a business work then there’s gonna have to be a trade-off and one of the trade-offs is not getting to have like a free time as much at least for a while until you build a system that sustains itself and you know paid traffic is a great way to do that but so you can reclaim your time by cutting out some of these extra things like just figure out write down two or three things that that you know that you’re doing every day that maybe aren’t helping you in you know achieving your business goals and try to you know reduce them or eliminate them completely if you can eliminate them completely you’ll suddenly have more time available you probably have more time than you think you do if you’re really really honest and you evaluate your day and how you actually spend your time there’s probably some big gaps in what you consider you know how much time you have so just be really honest and prioritize your success and your business goals over other things that your brain is telling you you need to do or want to do like playing video games or whatever whatever you’re like you know decompression chill thing is well how about you replace that with learning more about business so just reclaim your time from the these things that are literally created to a dict you like like games on your phone social media apps are literally you know programming you to respond to them with all the dings and the notifications and stuff one thing is just to turn off the buzzing and the dinging of notifications and I’m sure you’ve heard this before but seriously just do it it will change the addictive nature of these apps you may still feel the impulse to go you know look at your Facebook feed or whatever but at least it won’t be buzzing and literally creating a physical reaction in your body in your mind so that’s a great way to reclaim some of your time so that you have time to focus whatever time you have available to you you need to focus it so that you can get results so another thing that another thing a resource you may be lacking in or may have lacked in the past if you buy a course and it’s recommending something that you don’t have available capital to be able to come to accomplish so obviously you’re here because you paid for a paid traffic training course now obviously that means you’re gonna have to have some capital you’re gonna have to spend money to learn you’re gonna have to spend money to get results in paid traffic when with Bing ads so if you don’t have a lot of capital then you’re gonna have to start stacking cash you’re gonna have to fund these experiments in paid traffic and that’s why we talked about treating this as a business you’re not just trying to make a quick 500 bucks that literally is useless I mean I know it sounds great or it can sound great to some people but it’s literally useless it’s it’s not gonna help your life at all so you need to start thinking of ways to start stacking cash and so that you have more money to spend on your paid traffic campaigns because ultimately that’s what where you want to go if you’re taking this course then you want to have predictable consistent revenue streams from paid traffic in the way that you do that is you need money to keep fueling the the campaigns you know you can’t just spend a hundred bucks and make a hundred thousand and retire that’s just not how it works so you need to start thinking about other ways to stack cash if a lack of capital is one of your issues that’s that’s one of the reasons that you haven’t been able to get good results from maybe other paid traffic courses so just start thinking about that start thinking about alternative revenue streams some great things to consider might be a big thing like like uber or lyft working as a driver or post mates or favor working as a delivery person from time to time stacking up some extra cash stacking up a few hundred dollars that you can use to test for you Bing campaigns or learning something like affiliate marketing that doesn’t require paying for traffic so I’ve started doing this as well I’ve started finding alternative alternative or alternate revenue stream so for example promoting things through my youtube channel if I create a YouTube video well it doesn’t cost me any money to create that and over time you know more and more people will see the video if I follow certain strategies and you know if I’m recommending an affiliate product in that video then every once in a while somebody will purchase that affiliate product and I made money for not having to invest any money in the paid traffic so if you don’t know how to do that check out one of the bonuses in the course which is how to start with low or no budget I’m going to talk about some of my favorite cash stacking strategies so there’s a whole bonus course all about that just know that again taking this seriously it’s a business it’s a long term thing you’re gonna get better and better so just relax like if you don’t have you know a thousand dollars to test on ads right now that’s fine start wherever you can reasonably not not to gamble all of your money away on something that might produce an ROI but instead you know set aside however much you can if you can set aside ten dollars a week or whatever to test ads then that’s fine then you’re gonna have to learn you’re gonna check out the other parts of the course that talked about the strategies for having a low budget but that’s where you’re gonna have to start so start there and work on building up you know stacking cash by like doing some extra work here there or learning another traffic method that doesn’t require money so YouTube is is my favorite one but I’ll talk more about that in the bonus course just just start thinking about this it’s another reason that most courses may have failed you another is just knowledge so obviously by taking this course you’re gonna increase your knowledge and you know by you’re just gonna get better and better and then the next thing obviously is practice by practicing you’re going to improve your skills and you know so you’re gonna get better and better
