One of the great things about WordPress is that it is very easy to add audio files and create playlists. In this article, we will show you how to add audio files and create playlists in WordPress.
Adding Audio Files in WordPress
To add an audio file in WordPress, you first need to create a new post or edit an existing one. On the post editor screen, you will see the Add Media button above the post editor.
Click on the Add Media button and then click on the Upload Files tab. You can now select the audio file from your computer and upload it to your WordPress site.
Once the audio file is uploaded, you can add it to your post by selecting it and then clicking on the Insert into post button.
Creating Audio Playlists in WordPress
If you want to create an audio playlist, then you need to click on the Create Audio Playlist link from the left side of the media uploader screen.
This will bring up a new window where you can select the audio files you want to add to your playlist. Once you have selected the audio files, click on the Create a new playlist button.
Enter a name and description for your playlist. You can also choose to shuffle the playlist or keep it in the order that you have selected the audio files.
Once you are done, click on the Insert playlist button. Your audio playlist will now be added to your post.
You can test your playlist by previewing your post or by visiting your WordPress site.
