If you’re running a WordPress blog, there may come a time when you want to make it completely private. Whether it’s because you’re only writing for yourself or you’re sharing sensitive information, making your blog private is a fairly simple process. In this article, we’ll show you how to make your WordPress blog completely private.

When you make your WordPress blog private, only users who are logged in will be able to see it. That means you’ll need to create an account for each person who wants to access your blog. To do this, go to your WordPress dashboard and click on the “Users” tab. From there, you can add new users and assign them a role. The roles determine what each user can do on your site, so be sure to specify what you want each person to be able to do.

Once you’ve created accounts for everyone who needs access to your private WordPress blog, it’s time to actually make your blog private. To do this, go to the “Settings” tab in your WordPress dashboard and click on the “Privacy” option. On the privacy settings page, you’ll see a radio button that says “I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors.” Select that option and then click on the “Save Changes” button.

And that’s it! Your WordPress blog is now completely private. Only logged-in users will be able to see it, and search engines will be blocked from indexing it. If you ever want to make your blog public again, simply go back to the privacy settings page and select the “I would like search engines to index this site” option.
