If you want to restrict authors to specific categories in WordPress, you can follow these steps: 1. Log in to your WordPress administrator dashboard. 2. In the left-hand column, hover over the “Settings” menu item, then click on the “Categories” sub-menu item. 3. On the Categories page, find the “Restrict Categories” section. 4. In the “Allow access to these categories” field, select the categories that you want to allow the author to access. 5. Click the “Update” button to save your changes. Now, when the author tries to access the WordPress administrator dashboard, they will only be able to see the categories that you have allowed them to access. If they try to access a category that they don’t have permission to, they will get an error message.
