With that in mind, it’s no surprise that WordPress has adopted a mobile-first approach. This means that when you create or edit a post or page in WordPress, the default editor will now display a simplified version that is optimized for mobile devices.
While this is great news for those who primarily use their mobile devices to access WordPress, it can be a bit of a pain for those of us who still prefer to use the desktop version. Fortunately, there is a way to view the mobile version of WordPress sites from your desktop computer.
Here’s how:
1. Open the website you want to view in your mobile browser of choice.
2. In the address bar, type “about:config” and press Enter.
3.Scroll down to the “User Agent String” setting and double-click it.
4. A dialogue box will appear. In the box, type “iPhone” and press Enter.
5. Close the dialogue box and refresh the page.
You should now see the mobile version of the WordPress site you were trying to view.
One of the great things about WordPress is that it is automatically optimized for mobile devices. This means that if you have a WordPress site, you can view the mobile version of it from your desktop.
To do this, simply go to the WordPress site on your desktop and then scroll down to the bottom of the page. At the bottom, you will see a link that says “View Full Site.” Click on this link and you will be taken to the mobile version of the WordPress site.
If you are not on a WordPress site, you can still view the mobile version of most WordPress sites by going to the site’s main URL and then adding “/?m=1” to the end of it. For example, if the WordPress site you want to view is example.com, you would go to example.com/?m=1 to view the mobile version of the site.
