Bing Ads Editor
alright ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Bing ads editor this is profit activator number two especially if you ever have any ambition to become a PPC manager for any company which obviously with the skills in this course that you’re learning you will be an amazing candidate to run anyone’s PPC campaigns because you know a lot of companies don’t use Bing and if you just simply go in and say hey running an AdWords account why don’t I do the same thing for Bing and double your profits they should be pretty receptive to that and so with everything you’re learning in this in this course you definitely be able to do that and this tool is kind of built for bigger accounts but we can get some we can get some use out of it no matter how big the account is it’s really just a powerful tool that has tons of options and it’s made to multiply your efforts it’s an Archimedes lever if you will for Bing ads and it’s actually modeled exactly after Adwords they built a tool to handle really big AdWords accounts with ease especially for big account managers and and so that’s the the AdWords editor and so Bing ads you know always looking after they’re looking up to their Big Brother they want to become googles so they created a Bing ads editor and it’s pretty awesome so some of the features that I use most often is the one that I outlined for you in another video we’ll just duplicating ad groups to separate them into being and syndicated so that’s thought that’s the thing I use it for the most and I do you know manage my accounts as well as clients accounts is from the same thing I’m not gonna click on that but but you can open the accounts manager and you can log into multiple accounts you know dozens of different accounts if you want to be if you want to manage people’s being accounts as a as a consulting then this tool is absolutely essential you can manage all your clients accounts from one tool and you can make huge changes in just a few seconds so I showed you how you can copy and paste just to review that let’s say for example you want to copy and a whole ad group that’s you know all the ads all the keywords everything you literally just you know ctrl-c ctrl-v just like you would in Microsoft Word and boom you have a duplicated ad group you could do that with campaigns like I could literally I wonder if you can undo because I don’t actually need to do that but I’ll just delete I’ll just delete this I guess it doesn’t really matter this isn’t really a live account so on top of let’s another thing that I do for scaling is to go from the u.s. to other countries so this is showing this whole campaign here and let’s say I’ve really dialed in this campaign I’ve got all the ad groups are all separated out there’s you know 1215 different ad groups in here they all have you know really dialed in keywords and ads that match the keywords they’re all just great and so I think if it works in the u.s. well it’ll probably work in Canada but I don’t want in if you try to replicate that which I have in the past in the the Bing ads web interface it’s a nightmare it’s just it gets so tedious and boring and to literally just copy and paste like lists of keywords and the ad copy oh it’s it’s dreadful so this tool is amazing so I want to just have the exact same campaign but for Canada so what do i do of course just go to the whole click on the campaign’s here select the campaign you want click control see it copies everything inside that camp so that had four ad groups in there which each of those had their own keywords their own ads whatever and then I’m just gonna copy and paste so now it’s creating a whole new duplicate version of that and so and it tells you – if you’re gonna if you’re doing things that will cause errors so what I what it’s saying is there’s a duplicate aka the name so I’m just gonna change this to Canada and then obviously I haven’t changed the actual it’s not actually set to run to Canada yet so how do I do that well now we can look through all of these different options you can see for each campaign you can see all the keywords you know that are active in that campaign you could see all the negative keywords you could see schedules locations this is the one that that matters for this particular example so we want to make sure that we’re selecting this campaign and then click locations and then we’re going to change the location to Canada you’re gonna search for it and I don’t know why but for some reason you have to click around but then I’m gonna change so that just changed the whole campaign to Canada you know so there’s there’s all these different pieces of information around the campaign’s or the ad groups or whatever you’re clicking on if you want to upload ads copy and paste ads this is something that I use quite often as well so let’s say you just created a new ad group and you want to take all the ads from here then you can actually edit the ads in within this as well so you could say I want this is really useful so we’ve got all these ads here if I select all of them these are all the ads inside the Canada campaign I can change one thing see right now it says varies varies varies if I wanted them all to have the same title part one or title part two or the same ad tax or the final URL so let’s say I have a different landing page for Canada and instead of going into each ad group in each ad and manually changing it I can change them all at once I can just change the final URL for all of them to Canada and now I clicked away and now the final URL is going to be Canada so you can see how powerful that is just in a few seconds I did something that might take me you know five or ten minutes that’s why I call this one of the profit activators because once you get campaigns rolling this thing is amazing for scaling scaling to other countries to build out build out your ad groups really easily you can literally you know duplicate four ad groups you can duplicate as many ad groups at a time as you want I could select all four of these copy them and then move them into a different campaign click in that campaign and then paste it into a different campaign so just you have to be you know kind of creative and and think about how you might mount might use this for yourself but it’s a very powerful tool nonetheless so I don’t really know what I did just there but uh okay so the next important thing so you make all your changes sort of locally on your computer this thing stores its own database on your computer and then once you’re ready you click post and it will kind of check through everything or also yeah I guess you could import or export I’ve never used this statistics on this if you want to change the bid on hundreds or thousands of keywords all at once you could just change it here by the way let’s look at keywords real quick so yeah if you wanted to change all the bids in one ad group or campaign or anything you could change the bid here too you know 0.3 and now they’re all point three they’re all going to be changed to 0.3 you could change the match type you could change the final URL etc you can pause them all or pause as many as you want you can add negative keywords adding keywords is quite awesome here a lot of times the web interface only allows you to add like 100 keywords at a time so if you want to add lots of keywords you can go in here and you can say I want to add I want to add this whole list of keywords I want to add these things – you know these these – the syndicated and the syndicated and then in Canada I want to add the syndicated in the bank syndicated Bing so I want to add all these keywords to these exact campaigns and ad groups all at once and then I would click Next change this to keyword and then it would import all of those into those ad groups all at once so you could copy and paste a huge list in there and it immediately applies them and then whenever you’re done with all of your changes you just click post and it will do one quick check I probably won’t actually post this but it’ll just show you though it’ll run through all of your ads and see if it found any technical errors like duplicates or conflicts where you you know have keywords that are cancelling each other out it will also filter for blocked terms or restricted terms like if you try to run to pharmaceutical names then that will automatically get flagged by their system just like Google so we’ve got it kind of gives you a rundown here if you only want to update the selected campaigns or if you want to update all the campaigns that you changed in this session then you can just click post and then all of those will get uploaded into your web account and you’ll be able to see them immediately so this is just a very very powerful tool I really you know can’t get into all the features here there’s just so many but the ones that I use the most are copying and pasting campaigns or ad groups let’s say just just to keep you know using the same idea here if I wanted to duplicate this these campaign this campaign the US campaign to Canada you know all the english-speaking countries UK Australia New Zealand etc or any other countries just literally just copy-paste change the name and then change the location down here and then you’re good to go and then you upload it and it just did probably an hour of work for you so just really awesome really good for adding lots of key words really good for copying and pasting and really good for managing multiple clients it’s totally absolutely essential so if you are building up a bigger campaign or if you are working with multiple clients then you definitely want to pick up the Bing ads editor hopefully this was an exciting
