GoHighLevel Affiliate Program: Commission, Payouts and How to Join
The GoHighLevel affiliate program pays a 40% monthly recurring commission on customers you refer, plus 5% on customers referred by affiliates you bring in. Because HighLevel plans start at $97 a month, one referral is worth far more than a typical one-off software commission. Here is how it works.
The key numbers
| Detail | |
|---|---|
| Commission | 40% monthly recurring |
| Second tier | 5% monthly recurring |
| Tracking portal | Affiliate Portal, powered by FirstPromoter |
| Payouts | Through Tipalti |
| Need a paid account? | No, but agency accounts get a link automatically |
Details taken from HighLevel’s own help articles and affiliate agreement, October 2026.
What one referral is worth
HighLevel’s three main plans are $97, $297 and $497 per month. At 40%, that works out to:
| Plan | Monthly price | Your 40% |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $38.80 per month |
| Unlimited | $297 | $118.80 per month |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $198.80 per month |
The commission continues for as long as the customer keeps paying. Ten Starter customers who stay is $388 a month. Churn works the other way: when a referral cancels, that income stops.
The second tier
If someone you refer becomes an affiliate, you earn 5% per month on the customers they refer. On a $297 plan that is $14.85 a month. It is a small bonus on top of your direct commissions, not a reason to join on its own.
How to join
There are two routes.
- You already have a HighLevel agency account. You are given an affiliate link automatically when you sign up. Find it in the Affiliate Portal inside your account.
- You do not have an account. Apply on HighLevel’s affiliate sign-up page. You can be an affiliate without an active subscription.
Either way, set up your payout details early. HighLevel pays affiliates through Tipalti, and the setup has to be complete before you can be paid.
Who the program suits
HighLevel is a tool for marketing agencies and service businesses. Your referrals will convert best if your audience looks like that:
- Agency owners and freelancers who manage client marketing
- Local business consultants
- Coaches teaching agency or lead-generation models
- Anyone publishing tutorials on CRM, funnels or automation
A general audience with no need for a CRM will not convert well, however good the commission.
Ways to promote it
- Comparison content. People search for HighLevel against other tools before they buy.
- Tutorials. Step-by-step guides attract people who are already evaluating the software.
- Snapshots and templates. Offering a ready-made setup as a bonus gives buyers a reason to use your link.
- Email. A short sequence explaining one use case usually beats a single link drop.
Rules to know
HighLevel has an affiliate agreement and program policies. Read them before you run paid ads or bid on brand keywords, since affiliate programs commonly restrict both.
Is it worth joining?
Yes, if your audience runs agencies or service businesses. A 40% recurring commission on a product people pay for monthly is among the better software offers available. If your readers are not that audience, look through my full list of affiliate programs for a better fit.
