welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Bing ads boot camp this is the Nomad Brad and let’s go ahead and get started so for week 1 lesson 1 the first thing we’re gonna talk about is how to set up your website for Bing ads and specifically in the next few videos I’m going to show you exactly you know how to go through these steps on screen but first I figured I would cover some of the things that you’re going to need before you get started so this depends on whether or not you’re trying to build a list sell a product or sell a or build a list for a client or sell a client’s product right those are probably the main uses you’re going to be using Bing ads for so if you’re building your own if you’re trying to build your own list or you’re selling your own product then obviously you’re going to need a website you can either have a self hosted website in which case I would recommend that you install WordPress that’s pretty simple to do there’s I’ve probably made some videos about it on my youtube channel or you could use a hosted solution like clickfunnels clickfunnels is really good for both building lists and especially good for selling products so if your client doesn’t even know what clickfunnels is this could be a good opportunity to introduce the idea of product funnels and build a whole solution and that and click funnels includes self they host they can host your landing pages I wouldn’t recommend that I would recommend still buying a domain at least even if you’re gonna use click funnels the other option if you’re not gonna use click funnels especially if you only need to collect leads then you should go with your own hosted website if you don’t need all the robust functionality of building product funnels although click funnels does make building opt-in pages very very simple you’re probably going to want to host your own website and use WordPress and then use some sort of plug-in to create landing pages so you’re going to be sending your traffic to a landing page either a sales page or an opt-in page so though again the ways to do that are click funnels which is a paid solution you can get a 14-day trial click clicking one of the links below but this is the most robust solution they have a lot of pre-made templates for opt-in pages they integrate with all the major autoresponder providers and they also have product funnels so if you’re gonna sell your own product this is definitely a great way to go if you’re not gonna sell your own product if you’re just gonna build a list or build a list for a client then I would actually recommend thrive architect which is a paid solution but it makes beautiful landing pages and it’s only well I don’t know what the pricing will be exactly when this when you whenever you watch this video but it’s a one-time cost so if you have WordPress installed thrive architect is a wordpress plugin so WordPress is free you can get a domain for what ten dollars a month there ten dollars a year to register the domain and then I think about $10 a month for hosting so very very affordable and then thrive architect you pay one time for that entire website you can use it you can use the plug-in and it builds really amazing beautiful web pages they have tons of different templates and stuff so if you’re looking for a little more affordable option then click funnels then I would recommend thrive architect a lot of people use leadpages I honestly haven’t used them in years I don’t really know where they’re at you know if you if you have any expertise or specialty with them then go ahead and use them the last option if you’re really on a budget is to try to find some wordpress landing page plugins a lot of these can be free or they start out as free to be honest I really if if you value your time I really wouldn’t recommend this option because I’ve tried a lot of them and they’re usually just not built for direct response marketers they’re usually built for like tech entrepreneurs they they usually have landing pages that are like we’ve released this new gadget or software or something and here’s the launch day like they’re very I don’t know why but they’re they’re built for like a particular type of business and they usually take some work to try to make them look nice so I I don’t know maybe things have improved in the last couple years but ever since I discovered thrive architect I really that’s my baseline if I’m just gonna build a list if I don’t plan on like especially you know if you’re doing like affiliate marketing or something you’re just gonna build a list I would go with thrive architect because it’s a one-time fee and it’s amazing it just lets you do pretty much anything you could possibly want to do and build beautiful landing pages which is important these days you know the looks of your landing pages can matter a lot to the potential you know prospect or customer so if you’re selling your own products I would go clickfunnels hardcore I don’t know about leadpages I’m sure they make amazing opt-in pages so that might be a great option for collecting leads as well so you can look for your own WordPress landing page builders there are lots of them I have never had great luck with them but I know they’re always improving so go ahead and give it a shot there should be some links below for some of my recommendations ok so another thing you’re gonna need especially if you’re building a list is obviously an autoresponder client or at least an email client you need somewhere for these leads to be going so I would recommend either MailChimp which is free I think until the first thousand people on your list it’s pretty amazing these days they used to have like a limited plan where you couldn’t do autoresponders unless you paid but now they let you do autoresponders for the on the free plan and so I really think that’s a great way to start with MailChimp there is a catch though if you’re gonna do a philly ‘t marketing MailChimp hates affiliate marketing they will be very honest I’ve actually gotten accounts suspended for quite a long time and this was on a client’s you know major business account because I tried to send one affiliate link of a you know popular affiliate product Network and it immediately got flagged and my account was suspended for a long time like I want to say it was like 10 or 15 days so if you’re gonna do be doing a lot of MailChimp or a lot of auto affiliate marketing I would not use MailChimp they do not like affiliate marketing they’re honest about it they have it in their policies they just say they honestly say if you’re gonna do a philia marketing we’re not the provider for you and they have automated systems in place to try to you know flag your account for that so if you’re gonna do any affiliate marketing I would go with get response I love get response I think they’re amazing they’re very affordable their first level plan up to a thousand people is $15 a month at least at the time of this video recording yeah if you’re gonna do a philia marketing you definitely you can’t go MailChimp unfortunately so I would go get response very affordable amazing functionality they have a lot of really cool visual builders so I would go get response unless you have some other you know particular company that you prefer and finally you’re gonna need a budget and a payment method I’ve already had a few people ask me about this stuff and honestly I don’t really have any tips and tricks other than you know you just have to comply with whatever Byng asks of you you know you you’re gonna get your own approval process which I wouldn’t be afraid of it all it’s very easy I’ve set up lots and lots of accounts for my cell phone for clients it’s very easy to get approved however I do live in the United States I don’t know if that’s a factor there may be other factors of play that I’m just simply not aware of so that’ll be your own your own you know thing to figure out but you definitely need a budget you need to know how much you’re willing to spend to get customers or leads and you know a plan of what you’re gonna do with them so now these are the things you’re
