Most WordPress themes come with pre-built templates for a variety of pages, including an “FAQ” page.

This is great news if you have questions that you want to present to your potential customers in an easily-digestible format. But what if your theme doesn’t have an FAQ template?

No problem. In this article, we’ll show you how to easily create an FAQ section on your WordPress website, without having to code or install a separate FAQ plugin.

Creating an FAQ Section in WordPress

When it comes to creating an FAQ section in WordPress, you have two main options:

1. Use a WordPress plugin

2. Manually create an FAQ section

We’ll show you how to do both.

Using a WordPress Plugin

If you want to use a plugin to create an FAQ section, we recommend going with WPBakery Page Builder.

WPBakery Page Builder is a WordPress plugin that provides a drag-and-drop interface for creating custom pages and posts. It’s a great option for beginners because it doesn’t require any coding knowledge.

Once you’ve installed and activated WPBakery Page Builder, go to Pages » Add New to create a new page.

On the page editing screen, you’ll notice a new “Backend Editor” and “Frontend Editor” button. The Backend Editor is the default WordPress editor, while the Frontend Editor is the WPBakery Page Builder interface.

Click on the “Frontend Editor” button to launch the WPBakery Page Builder interface.

On the WPBakery Page Builder interface, you’ll see a section labeled “Frequently Asked Questions.”

Click on it to add an FAQ section to your page.

Next, you can start adding questions and answers to your FAQ section. To add a question, click on the “Add Question” button.

This will bring up a popup where you can enter your question. Once you’re happy with your question, click on the “Add Answer” button.

This will bring up another popup where you can enter your answer. You can also add media to your answer, such as images and videos.

When you’re done adding your answer, click on the “Save Changes” button.

You can add as many questions and answers as you like. Once you’re happy with your FAQ section, click on the “Save Changes” button at the top of the screen.

Your FAQ section is now ready.

Creating an FAQ Section Manually

If you don’t want to use a WordPress plugin to create an FAQ section, you can also do it manually.

To do this, you’ll need to add a custom HTML block to your page. A custom HTML block is a WordPress content block that allows you to add custom HTML code to your pages and posts.

To add a custom HTML block, go to the WPBakery Page Builder interface and click on the “+” icon.

This will bring up a popup with a list of WordPress content blocks. Scroll down and click on the “Custom HTML” block.

This will add a new custom HTML block to your page. In the block, you’ll see a blank text editor.

Next, you’ll need to add the following code to the text editor:

How do I add an FAQ section to my WordPress website?

Are you looking to add a FAQ section to your WordPress website? Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are a great way to provide answers to common questions that your visitors may have. They can also help you to reduce support requests and save time.

In this article, we will show you how to easily add a FAQ section to your WordPress website.

When it comes to setting up a FAQ section, there are two main approaches that you can take:

1. Use a WordPress Plugin

2. Manually Add a FAQ Section

We will cover both methods in this article. So, let’s get started!

method 1: Use a WordPress Plugin

There are a number of different WordPress plugins that you can use to add a FAQ section to your website. This is by far the easiest method, as it only requires a few clicks to get started.

Our top pick is the WP FAQ Manager plugin. It is a free plugin that is simple to use and comes with all the features that you need to create an effective FAQ section.

Once you have installed and activated the plugin, you will need to create a new FAQ group. To do this, head over to FAQ Groups » Add New in your WordPress admin area.

Give your FAQ group a name, and then click on the Add FAQ Group button.

Next, you will need to add some questions to your FAQ group. To do this, head over to FAQs » Add New.

Here, you will need to select the FAQ group that you created in the previous step. Next, add your question and answer. You can also add an image or video if you want.

Once you are happy with your question and answer, click on the Add FAQ button to save your changes.

Repeat this process for each question that you want to add to your FAQ section.

Once you have added all of your questions, it’s time to display your FAQ section on your website.

Head over to the WP FAQ Manager » Settings page to configure your plugin settings.

On the plugin settings page, you will need to select the FAQ group that you want to display on your website. You can also choose how you want your FAQs to be displayed.

For example, you can choose to display your FAQs in a list format or in a question and answer format.

Once you have selected your preferences, click on the Save Changes button to store your settings.

Now that you have configured your plugin settings, it’s time to add your FAQ section to your website.

To do this, you will need to add a shortcode to the page or post where you want your FAQ section to appear.

The WP FAQ Manager plugin comes with a handy shortcode that you can use. Simply add the [wpfaq] shortcode to the page or post where you want your FAQ section to appear.

method 2: Manually Add a FAQ Section

If you don’t want to use a plugin, then you can manually add a FAQ section to your WordPress website.

To do this, you will need to add a custom post type to your website. Don’t worry, it’s easier than it sounds!

First, you will need to add the following code to your theme’s functions.php file or a site-specific plugin:

function wpdocs_create_faq_post_type() {

register_post_type( ‘faq’, array(

‘labels’ => array(

‘name’ => __( ‘FAQ
