Keywords Toaster (2023) – Why I Love This Handy Keywords Tool
Keywords Toaster is a very useful keyword mixer for marketers.
Sometimes this can also be called a keyword match type tool or a keyword wrapper tool. It can be used for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) with search ad platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
You usually use it in combination with the Google Keyword Planner or the Microsoft Keyword Planner.
What Does Keywords Toaster Do?
Sometimes you have a list of keywords and you need to wrap characters around them in bulk so that the search ad platform interpret sthem as the right match type:
- Exact Match – brackets [ ]
This will only trigger ads for search queries where exactly the term that you type inside the brackets is shown.
- Phrase Match – quotes ” ”
Phrase match will make it so your ads trigger when any search query is entered that contains the phrase that you put in between the quotes happens, exactly in the order you enter it.
- Broad Match – no characters
Broad match is what will be entered if you don’t put any extra characters around the keywords, and this will get you the biggest search volume, but the lowest precision.
I’ve been using Keywords Toaster for a few years now, and I really love it.
