Want to learn Python for free?

A while ago, I decided that it would really benefit my digital marketing, SEO and personal skills to learn programming.

I was (still am) a total beginner, and have not spent any money on python courses or classes (though I definitely don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.

I started with the book “How to Automate Everything With Python” by Al Sweigart.

And then – it started to snowball. Below I’ll share my favorite resources I used to learn Python for free.

Automate The Boring Stuff With Python – Free Python Book

The first way to learn Python for free is via a book.

I would highly recommend this one. You can download it for free at the website.

I also got the book on amazon to support Al, but the choice is up to you.

The FreeCodeCamp.org Free Python Class

This free class on Youtube is a great way to get started learning Python.

It covers all the fundamentals to learning programming in general, but Python specifically.

Study The Python Documentation

Another great way to learn Python is to simply study the documentation.

For me, this is not a great method because it’s very hard for me to follow technical instructions via text. But some people swear by it.

Just go to https://www.python.org/ and follow the beginner instructions.
