Simple Commission Tracker For Google Sheets (The Commission Calendar)
I just created this little commission tracker template for google sheets.
If you’re doing affiliate marketing, you know how motivating it can be to track your affiliate commissions – every day you wake up, you hope to look and see new commissions coming in, the fruits of all of your hard work.
I hope this simple commission tracker calendar can help you do that.
The “Commission Calendar” Method
My greatest affiliate marketing mentor, Greg Jeffries shared a secret with me a while ago, one that I recently remembered and used to create this commission tracker.
He said that one of the tools that helped him find success early on in his affiliate marketing career, as he was creating the process that would eventually become the SEO Affiliate Domination process,
He built what called a “commission calendar”.

Greg said that when he was working on building up his passive income streams from affiliate marketing and seo, he found it very motivating to set simple goals along the way.
One of the first goals he set after making his first affiliate commission, was to eventually work up to getting at least one new commission coming in every day.
So he kept track of this on a calendar.
Even if you’re only getting small dollar amounts for commissions, they can start to add up pretty quickly if they’re coming in on a regular basis.
And thinking “how can I make at least one commission per day?” is a much more productive and achievable goal to be working on as you’re building your affiliate income than something like “how do I make $10,000 per month in commissions?”
Of course – if you succeed in simply getting a new commission every day, you are well on your way to making $10,000/month in affiliate commissions too.
As greg has told me many times – it’s not very hard to simply “add a zero”.
- Once you get to $1 in commissions – it’s not that hard to “add a zero” and get to $10 in commissions.
- Once you get to $10, it’s not THAT hard to get to $100…
- And once you get to $100, it’s not THAT hard to get to $1,000…
- You get the drift.
I have found this to be true as well.
The first commission is the hardest. It’s easy to build momentum after that first one, and it gets easier all the time.
Something that my former mentor Cory Miller used to refer to as the “snowball of momentum” in business.
So anything you can use to get yourself to stay motivated and trust the process until the “snowball” has time to accumulate and really start to produce incredible results – you should take advantage of.
