Adding a Custom Scrollbar in WordPress
First thing you need to do is install and activate the Custom Scrollbar plugin. Upon activation, you need to visit Settings » Custom Scrollbar page to configure the plugin settings.
The plugin settings page is divided into two sections. The first section is for the content area and the second section is for the sidebar.
Content Area Settings
For the content area, you need to select a scrollbar color, width, and position. You can also decide whether you want the scrollbar to be always visible or only visible on hover.
The width setting is important because it will determine how thick the scrollbar will be. You can enter any value in pixels or leave it as auto to let the plugin automatically adjust the width.
The position setting allows you to place the scrollbar on the left or right side of the content area.

For the sidebar, you can again select a scrollbar color and width. However, the position setting for the sidebar is fixed and you can not change it.
